If I'm at home and I hear the Air which is the second movement of this piece, my tradition is to lie down on my bed and stay that way until the movement is over. It has a calming effect on me!

Senz’altro la più bella delle 4 ouvertures. Uno dei capolavori di Bach per ispirazione e svolgimento orchestrale. Gli “ olandesi “ sono strepitosi.
