I was proud to be able to see Bruno, Pedro, Bob Backlund and superstar Billy Graham in the old Boston garden. Each of these men will always have my deepest respect for the class that they represent the world championship
I've got the same belt with the real leather/red croc backing option but all gold... The silver eagle and whatnot is great! Smart move because no one on RUclips who owns a Backlund belt has one like yours and it's always cool to stand out from the crowd. I like it!... I have a dual plate Fandu big gold on the way, but my favorite replica is my WWF Winged Eagle on Reggie Parks leather with the leather backing and Reggie’s name stamped on the end of the belt, that I purchased from Dave Milligan in December of 2006 for my birthday. I will getting this one next for my birthday in December this year exactly like this. I love it!

I lucked into finding this same belt with a powder blue strap. I love the heavy weight too it along with the three side plates and the beautiful eagle on the front!
I had gotten a Fandu Big Gold on real black leather with the red 🐊 backing and I absolutely love it. For Christmas, I am purchasing a dual plated Big Gold on the real brown leather strap like Flair had.

I got the faux leather on my Fandre, and really don't like. Didn't seem very durable. So when I got the Backlund, I felt it needed real leather. If they offered other options than just black for real leather, I probably would have went blue too.
I really like the way that belt is done. WWE shop came up with one a while back as it's not as detailed as the fandu belt. I love the fandu big gold and the Andre 87. I got the tag team belts and Andre 87 belt. It's just amazing. The two-tone makes it amazing.
I have everything Fandu offers except the tag belt. I'm mostly just collecting World Championships, so I skipped the tag belt. I wish they'd make the belt Flair carried for a bit in 91, when WCW served WWF for using the Big Gold, the modified tag belt.

Since I did a lay away I wasn't eligible for any sales, so it was $600 USD. But if you pay in full, they often times have sales where you can save $200.

It's definitely one of my favorites in my collection. I put off buying it for a long time, but when I finally got it, it quickly became a favorite.
When I first saw the menorah I thought it was a candelabra and they were paying homage to Liberace! I mean it is the WWWF after all! Lol
