- As a part of the biologically inspired robotics module (ELEC6212) we designed and manufactured a jumping robot with a small form factor. We were inspired by a flea's ability to jump several times its body height.

How is that final product's string releasing mechanism
So its not possible to trigger the mechanism like there is a time delay between the unwinding of the servo and detaching of the velcro
@@vigneshkailas1561 you are right, there needs to be a half/quarter gear mechanism for fast release.

try some compressed air or something
fleas don't shoot compressed air at the ground to jump. also the air canister will become empty and need replaced or refilled, while a small lipo battery can be recharged easily.
