Hi Jed, I was checking the requirements for the Philippines and it says we need 5+ years bachelors. I completed mine for only 4 years (prior K-12). What additional requirements did you provide? I'm planning to apply for Linnaeus or Malmo University.
Hello! Initially, I wasn’t qualified as well since I only had a 4-year bachelor's from the PH. I got in touch with the Swedish universities I was interested in applying to and some of them had an additional step called “recognition of prior learning” which is your way of proving that you are eligible to study in Sweden even if you don’t meet some requirements. As far as I know, Malmö University, KTH, Stockholm University, and Linneaus University are the schools that offer this (the information on how to apply through RPL can be found on their websites, not on Universityadmissions.se), but other universities may offer it as well. I highly suggest getting in touch with the university you’re interested in and explaining your situation! //Jed
Hej Jed i have questions because you gone through it. How you migrated to Sweden, how you started study? Have you used special AGENCY from your country which helped you with all steps or you alone did it? what are thre first first steps, especially with migration, with WHO i can communicate about it? Embassy?
Hello Dani! I used all the information that I shared here in the video to apply to study in Sweden by myself. Once I was admitted to a program, I applied for a residence permit through migrationsverket.se 😁 Good luck on your application! // Jed

Hi Jed, I filled in the form a month ago, but it didn't take me to the portal for paying application fees. I also didn't receive any reply email as yet.
Is it possible to apply for a bachelor programme even if you will finish your high school diploma in summer? Or do you have to wait until you receive your high school diploma and then apply for the next year?
Hello Yann! As mentioned in the video, you need to have completed your upper secondary education (high school studies) BEFORE you apply to study in Sweden. Best of luck! // Jed
Hello,I heard from one of our acquaintances that someone who comes to Sweden and completes his master's degree, his income starts at around 40,000 kroner. Do you think this number is correct?
if i need to finish highschool to apply for the bachelor programmes and i can only apply between october and january does that mean that a gap year is unavoidable?
Great question! In Sweden, the application deadlines are typically in January for programs starting in the fall. However, universities understand that students from different education systems may receive their final transcripts later. Here’s how it usually works: You can apply with your current transcripts and submit your final ones once they’re available. Universities often provide a deadline for when these final documents need to be submitted. It’s important to check the specific requirements of the university you’re applying to and communicate with them if you have any concerns. Hope this helps, and best of luck with your application! //Fredrik, Study in Sweden
