I never comment on youtube videos, but this series boasts some of the most well produced backing tracks on the platform. Please, please keep making these.

I would love to know more about the players. Where in the world are you?
Mainly LA-based, but we have musicians from all over! 🌎
So cool. I kinda just cold run jam tracks at open mics. Popped this up and there was a cute little gal played the flute . What a moment in time did we have.......wonderful my friends, thank you, Mike Colgate
Very nice, rock on!
What guitar scale would you recommend using over this?
Here's a few suggestion:
- F minor blues will certainly work for most of it
- F Aeolian is also a good choice for most of it
- On that C7 chord, the C altered scale can be added for some extra spice
- the final three chords (Cm7-Bb-F) are an exception, but F Mixolydian/Bb major could work well there
Try these out and see how you get on!
You all sound great! Keep them coming!
Thanks, more to come!
What chords did the piano player use to transition from the Fm11 to Dbmaj7 at 1:53? Thanks!
It sounds like he's playing in thirds - Eb-G, F-Ab, G-Bb, Ab-C, G-Bb, F-Ab, and then landing on the Dbmaj7!
@@Pickupjazzthank you so much. I realised I meant to ask about the chords at 0:50 rather than my other time stamp. Do you know what chords he used there? Thanks a lot
So gooooood thank you
No problem 🎸🔥
Excellent
Thank you so much 😀
