I use the Hercules table saw, and double bevel sliding miter saw as well as the Hercules plunge router. They have really stepped up their game with the Hercules line the last few years.
I'm a Makita Gold guy, fastener fit of everything I've got is excellent.
I use the Hercules line and like you’ve said in a previous video, I’m 2 years in on the construction trade, so Still learning and buying tools as I go, doing maintenance and beyond. We do fencing, house remodeling, and whatever else to keep the money flowing. The impact is fantastic, building a huge fence with Phillips screws sucks but the T 25s and all the star bits have done the job and then some. My boss was impressed and liked using it as well and he uses all Dewalt stuff and was definitely impressed. The Hercules miter saw is pretty legit as well.
This is a channel based on hating Hercules. You’ll find no lover here lol.
@@escondidonative2903 I've made alot of money using hercules tools without breaking the bank. You'll find that many people in trade will respect hercules tools once they witness it action
Funny...every time I go into Harbor Freight and see the "Hercules" line of tools, the Nutty Professor scene at the dinner table and the *Klump Fart-Fest* comes to mind..."Hercules!!! Hercules!!! hahahaha
YES!!!!!!!
I just got an impact driver and was considering these. Guess I’ll have to do more searching.
Great informative video Vince for the bit kit
Thanks a lot Vince the info helps a ton ive shared ur channel with some boys at work
Thank you Matt!
I initially bought into the Hercules platform for 2 reasons... 1. I needed a "cheap" drill/driver to keep in the camper... and 2. The batteries were cheap, and lots of online reviews said the batteries were among the best quality of any cordless platform, and CHEAP. After using the *cheap* 20V Herc drill/driver, it won me over and ended up replacing my older DeWalt 14.4v drill/driver. Very pleased with the Herc. I've since bought the recip saw, blower, 20V impact driver, and Hercules Circular saw. I'm just a home gamer, but I'm impressed with the performance of these tools. Another factor is that I drive past HF almost every day, so If I need a replacement, *BAM* I got a brand new tool going home with me same day, no questions asked. That in and of itself is worth something!! I would say that these Herc tools are pro quality, even if they may be older tech. For a home gamer or light pro use, I think they're tough to beat. I was skeptical when I bought the first 20V drill/driver... but the quality of the tools have won me over completely. I'm completely satisfied with all my Herc tools so far! I'd like to see you guys do a review on more of the Herc tools... My Herc Circ saw looks almost like a carbon copy of the Milwaukee Fuel 6 1/2" Fuel cordless saw, except with a brushed motor. Brushed motors built America... just remember!! And never shop at HF without a COUPON! lol
@@1pcfred There are still some % off coupons that still work... right now if you look there is a 10% off "any item no exclusions" that is valid until Nov 27... But they sure have clamped down the %off coupons for sure.
Hi Guys!!! Hey Vince/Nick, thanks for reviewing this kit! I've been eager to see what you thought of it. I have this kit and like it pretty well. Unlike many other kits, this kit has extra long bits so I don't have to use an extender sleeve all the time. The two nut drivers have good magnets in them and work well. And, this kit has two sleeves when many kits just have one. It is disappointing to see the torx bits being slippery and the magnetic sleeve not very magnetic. Plus, the cost/bit is double of others! Maybe it's a good time for me to look at DeWalt or Milwaukee bits. On a separate note, the one thing that drives me crazy about Milwaukee Shockwave drill bit kits is the difficulty in removing drill bits from the plastic box. How do you remove a Shockwave drill bit without scuffing up your hand by grabbing the sharp end of the bit?
I "pressed" the like button cause I "smash" the -----thumb when removing floor tile. Great vid I buy a lot of DIY tools at Harbour Freight.
picked up an irwin impact bit set for 9.99 and came with everything the Hercules did. No wobble and hardly any play. Def good deal
Where i can't seem to find the secial.. the closes is 33 bucks at amazon
Same here. Hercules! Hercules! Hercules! I would go with another brand for bits personally.
As long as I'm the only one to use them, I don't tend to go through them very fast.
Thank you Vance
The only kit I grabbed was the titanium hex bits since 24 instead of 23. Checking on the wear though justed used them to drill metal today. Need more use. I got them since kit cost less then the 115 cobalt kit i got. Less cost of stolen.
Thank u gentlemen 👍
Hercules! Hercules! every time
I have the Milwaukee they fit good in #2 Phillips but I use the T25 from dewalt & dewalts magnetic sleeve constantly & it works & lasts longer than Milwaukee's T25
You should check out the Hercules 12" double bevel sliding miter saw. I bought these on the way home from buying my tool kit. Then i saw your review of the xtr bit set. And ran right to lowes and got the bit kit and drill bit kit. I did keep my impact adapters that are hercules and the pittsburg impact sockets. The hercules spade bits seem ok.
I make quality number 2 every day 😂 lol
Phillips bits by Grabber all day! God bless guys!😁👍
Have Hercules 3/8 Extended ratchet. Have a Chicago Electric Impact Driver and Pittsburgh Impact Sockets. Mostly used on cars and my 1983 FXWG. Work great.
If you don’t have a bunch of start up money to buy all of the nicest tools, Hercules will get the job done and in my experience has been no compromise. I would gladly admit if it’s failed and was a crappy tool, because obviously wasting money on tools that don’t work or fails on the job sucks, but people who work everyday and have to spend their money wisely can’t always be a tool snob. I’d love to own all Milwaukee tools, maybe one day, but I use the Hercules stuff every day and put them through hell and they have done great. It’ll also piss people off because they can’t wrap their head around the fact that it last or that it outperforms a lot of the so called top name brand tools out there. It ain’t easy being cheesy.
I bought this set and my magnetic sleeve doesn't work well but I like the bits none the less for the price but DeWalt it is for me hands down
Do have one question for ya. How “easy” is it to remove & put back the bits in the case; are they kind of had/tight, or not bad removing & putting back in? Example: Milwaukee shockwave bits/cases, compared to DeWalt & Makita etc... (know what I mean w/ the Milwaukee shockwave 😉, especially if wearing gloves).
Thx for the testing & your thoughts on these bits Vince. You guys rock for picking up tools & accessories to test for us all💪🏼
Cheers👍🏻
Imma start including that as part of our review!! 👍🏻
Great video , as soon as I got to the t20 part I said no thanks , Hercules 💪
Keep up the good work go team tools @VCG
I do in fact like your two cents and will buy the best value for the money. Hercules has to adjust their pricing if they want my greenbacks.
Still want an m18 fuel Hackzall vs kobalt one handed recip saw! And now, Hackzall vs atomic recip saw!
HF sells most of the components in that kit separately. I think that you can get a pack of #2 phillips.
Honestly people should stop looking in a bargain bin for quality and just shop around to get a quality item for almost the same price
Vince can you do a review on the new phillips square stik tight system?
Those Hercules bits seem good to me
I got a DeWalt 30 piece kit for $13 at HD a while ago. Nut drivers and all necessary adapters included. I bought a 1/4 to 1/2 impact separate and I'm still below $20 with far better quality bits. I just won't buy cheap tools anymore.
Could you use those on the hammer drill driver? I ought this set not knowing the difference
I think it means theft protection against someone walking out the store without paying for it. A lot of tools have that warning.
I use milwalkee, Bosch, and Hilti only in Pittsburgh
I Gata tell ya another great video Vince! Been watching for awhile but have never seen a porter cable brushless impact review maybe I missed it?
Nope haven't tested the pc yet!
I just bought a bosch bit set on clearance at lowes for $6 with more bits than that. It’s too easy to find deals on bit sets to settle for that kit.
I use those and I agree with the magnetism 🤷🏾♂️
I do love a good quality #2 😏
Had a Ryobi set which messed the #2 screws, either Milwaukee drill, impact, Hercules impact and Dewalt drill all get messed with that kit
Paused at 3:12 to 👍because of the nutty professor reference. I think the same thing when ever I hear or read the world "Hercules"
🤣🤣
Vince, I only ever make them, according to my wife LOL 5:08
Hercules version of one key 😆🤣 that was great. Definitely no Freight bits for me. By the way where's the video of RB taking you down???
Hey Vince love the channel! They have coupons for them for 17.99 often, in fact they have one right now haha, I bought these for my grandpa and uncle to match their Hercules drills haha they've been daily using them on the job site for over 6 months and other than losing a few they have no complaints! They didn't have the problem with the torx that you did, maybe you can warranty them?
Maybe. Thanks for the feedback avenger we appreciate it!
Or maybe he was using t20 and should've had t25?....
What kit do u recommend
Bought this kit, and have broken several Phillips bits already, bought some Milwaukee shockwaves and won't look back
I agree I'd rather spend the $25 + tax on a Milwaukee set or Dewalt set. 👌
The full milwaukee drill kits that arent halfassed are more like 50 to 130 but theyre bar none the best
I have the cheaper end Milwaukee bits currently. Constantly snapping bits or tips. Actually had a torx bit's tip twist on me. Lol
@@Only1Sethy I'd believe it I would believe just about anything to be honest with you because I myself actually turned a slotted bit into a Phillips bit. I wasn't using the wrong tool or the wrong bit either
Dewalt bits only for me
Which would Chaka buy this or a Ryobi kit?? 🤔
I agree that is expensive would buy a better set of bits at one of the big box stores instead!
Vince, are you sure the screw head is a Torx? Perhaps it is a Torx Plus which would make sense why you have so much play.
My Milwaukee shockwave torx bits r snug half the time they get left in screw
I guess Malco has the patent on the reversible nut driver. No matter what brand I purchase those nut drivers go right in the trash and are replaced with Malco 1/4 5/16 and 5/16 3/8. As a HVAC contractor we drive a lot of hex head zip screws and the ease of cleaning the magnet makes everything else trash.
This guys hilarious
I need a good set of Torx bits. Which one would you buy?
DeWalt makes a nice set of torx bita
I just cant get past the distrust harbor freight gave me in my past as a structures guy for aircraft. There are some HF tools worth having these days as they have become better, but for bit sets, something that can make or break the best tool in the world, not a chance.
Alot of the problems I've had are with the screws themselves. Company I work for used cheap ones
Yes some screws are terrible. In fact some are so bad that the groove in top never get stamped.
@@Kameron-The-Crafter yeah, nothing worse than being up a ladder finding out your last screw isn't stamped right. I've had best luck with torx screws, worst with philips
@@jewermank8536 that would suck. My trades in cabinetry and mill work. So i don't go up ladders. But i was helping my mom put dry wall in basement with pro so could get discount. But man are you right about philips. Like every screw was stamped wrong. What screw brands do you like.
@@Kameron-The-Crafter I've had good luck with GRK and Hillman. And far as bits go, I've broken all kinds. I use an impact with impact rated bits, after awhile they crack in half at the bit. I'm sure installing cabinets you've broke a few as well
what's up Vince the other night I I was agreeing with you when people leave the comments about tools I said that you are snapping back my comment was sarcastic saying that I was agreeing with you but hope you had a great Veterans Day I know I did I have a lot to be thankful for on Veterans Day between my grandfather flow B-17 bombers in World War II my brother-in-law and two cousins who all served in the Marines keep up the great videos
Thanks Joseph we appreciate your input always cuz!!
VCG Construction thanks 👊👊
@ Joseph Malinowski I also try to thank the families of those who served, as they made sacrifices as well. So thanks to you and your family brother ✌
Rob Spruk thank you so much brother
What's your thoughts on Irwin bits
Gotta try them out
Harbor freight should offer this impact driver in a brushless option.
They do now, and it's pretty impressive for price
Hey Vince what’s your favorite tool brand???
The brand that gets the job done
Who doesn't like a quality #2?
The best is eastwing for bits
Vince! Hi
Lmfao at the nutty professor
I kept thinking Kevin Sorbo instead of Eddie Murphy
Hercules Hercules
Looked like you should’ve used the t25 not the t20 bit
Exactly what I was thinking he said 20 was the most common screw size
Just about every torx I've ever ran was 25 not 20, have seen a few but nowhere near the number of 25
Team red til I'm dead but I'd buy dewalt before l would think of buying Hercules
I have used many Hercules bit kits because I have a Harbor Freight near the house and the kits are cheap. Do as I say, not as I do. If you need a set of bits that will wear out quick and you don't care, then get them. If you need a Hercules security bit kit, Harbor Freight is the only place I know of to get a security screw kit (this video isn't about that though). DO NOT get anything from Harbor Freight if you have the $$ for something better.
Hmm. I was going to buy the Milwaukee Shockwave impact kit and I think I still will for Black Friday. That Hercules impact seems really under powered for how big it is.
The big bit kits from DeWalt are NOT the same quality as if you had bought them individually. The last time Milwaukee version of the large kits were the same as the individual sets, though I wouldn't be surprised if they have done the same as DeWalt.
I stick with dewalt bit sets and Ridgit tools.
Hey Vince. Thanks for answering my comment. It's really cool that you take the time to answer all the questions and comments. Your a real dude Vince. I'm so glad I joined your gang. Your friend Vito
Eating more fiber will give you a quality number 2
Matching brand socks... lol
🤣🤣
Hercules branded socks???
I recently purchased a DeWalt magnetic sleeve and that bitch completely stripped out on the second screw. Every day I move farther and farther away from DeWalt.
I'll pass on those
There is a special place in hell for people who don’t match the brand of their drill with bits from the same company.
Lc cj I use Milwaukee hole saws and bits in my Dewalt drills
Royobi +1 complete system with all Dewalt driver bits and one box royobi drill bits lol
If you'd really have OCD, you's probably call it CDO :)
Spanish subtitles please, we are a lot that we disguise as your videos but we do not get all the information

Must be old Dewalt, because DeWalt torque bits NEVER fit well
Hope your undies are NB or Nike to match your shoes.lol
Are you sure you weren't using a 20 torx bit with a 25 torx screw
You made the comment "20 is the most common torx screw head" in my experience most have been 25 so I'm no real convinced you had the proper tool for the proper application
I honestly thought the same thing so I double checked. Sure enough the torx bits just don’t fit well. You use lots of harbor freight Matthew?
@@VCGConstruction no, I get little things there tarps, belt for sander, cheap socket when one breaks
Got #2 Phillips there once years ago haven't done that again
I have use a bunch of torx in the past couple years and have seen at least 2 ppl try to use 20 when they needed 25, with how loose that looked it was my initial thought
That was awkward bro
OCD or schizophrenia? Look at different brands on your shelf.
Bad tools suck like a bad wife.
What's up with shit camera quality?
harbor freight = 💩 😂 i went to HF once and that was enough...never again...anything i need i can buy at home depot or lowes or acme tools...you get what you pay for
@@1pcfred good for you...i dont like cheap chinese unknown brand tools for $10...i like quality stuff 👍
Those bits are trash 🗑
Harbor freight sucks You can get a better kit from Bosch,Dewalt, Milwaukee, or Kolbolt and masterforce than harbor freight junk 🐧🇺🇸🏒😎
Wow. What an incredible amount of talking that adds nothing meaningful to the review.
