Fuel is crazy now. EFS app keeps showing out of date prices (like .70 cents lower than what you actually get charged). been burned twice like that over last week. After I drop my load today I'm shutting down till CDL rates go up. Got a bunch of maintenance to do anyway and my EGR went tits up yesterday.
Man I just picked up a 44’ park model going west to Phoenix, and if it isn’t something it’s something…. Holy crap parts flew off last night and the night before, and I’m also going to be behind schedule almost two days as well. Ahhh 😱
When you added the horn beeping, I’m delivering a load of propane to a Walmart DC and I kept looking for a truck beeping at me lol. Stay safe out there 😎
Maybe I've been fighting this Winter weather too long this year, but for once, I can't wait until this Winter crap is over!! Just got stuck in it again last night in Northern Kansas. I'm so over it! Safe travels!
You and I both, Don! The trip I "attempted" to take two weeks ago in single digits made me decide I'm not taking trips next year when it's in the teens and dropping for the week! Summer can't get here fast enough!
That sucks when you spend so much money at a shop and it doesn't always completely fix your problem. I just spent over $3k at the shop on my Freightliner and I didn't make it 2 miles down the road and it had to go back.
I hope they get it going, literally just dropped it back off last night. It is the haul and tow truck I was telling you about when we talked in Brooklyn a few weeks ago. I had just moved up from single pulls and only got 2 short loads done before major work needed to be done. Oh well, I was slightly prepared for it.
@@dkcurry Ok, Ok!! You still have your pickup leased on for singles to bring in some cash while it’s being fixed then?? And just weather the storms when the come and build the maintenance account when it’s “smooth sailing” in between the storms!
Yep, still have the pickup leased on. My wife is also leased on and did one run with our pickup. We were planning another run next week with both trucks to take the kids somewhere for spring break. But if the Freightliner isn't fixed we will do the run with just the Ford.

Hard to distinguish from video of your noise but an exhaust leak can mimic a squeal and also turbo can make the same type of noise. Also boost leak.
