I like the adjustment knobs on the outside. Hate either reaching inside my mask to hit the switch above my lens or removing the helmet all together. This frustration has ended in safety squints being used more than I'd like to admit.
Yeah, those internal switches are a pain! However, there have been many times when having the knobs on the outside have got bumped too, or I start to weld and it's still on grind mode. For those reasons, my favorite hood is still my trusty sugar scoop with fixed shade (but auto darkening) lens. Watch my recent video about the Titanium. Agreed pal ,if you have to go into the mask to hit grind mode etc I just take it off altogether and use glasses.
