- At least 45 worshippers have been killed in a horror bus accident on the mountain pass between Mokopane and Marken in Limpopo. The bus lost control and fell off a bridge and caught fire. An eight-year-old child was seriously injured and has been airlifted to hospital. The pilgrims were travelling from Botswana to Moria outside Polokwane. Transport Minister Sindisiwe Chikunga was among the first to arrive at the crash site and has expressed deep sadness at what she witnessed.

One year Botswana students in a bus perished at Makgobaskloof sharp curve and mountain traveling to Eastern Transvaal then ( Mpumalanga now ) - this year at Mokopane mountain sharp curved road on the way pilgrimage. So sad. Botswana maybe don't have this kind of road in their country. The man that taught me how to drive advised me not to drive on high speed in the place I am not familiar with ( the place that I do not know ). Sad indeed lost so many people, tragic...

Even when you trying to bypass the N1 from Mokopane (60km to Polokwane) that route adds 200 km to get to Polokwane.
@@sekatimangena6640 we don't know which border they used. The nearest border from the scene of the accident is Grobler's bridge and if you travel to Polokwane from Groblers Bridge you don't even use the N1
