You can certainly lose sometime in Barter Books! I visited Britcon to see what the venue and event were like, The Lard Zone was one of the main attractions, as expected it was very busy. As you have said there were some great games on display, I have participated in Lardie days but this was a different experience. You do need to be mindful that those taking part have paid for the day so you don’t want to disturb there enjoyment, but you do feel a bit like an intruder when walking through. I decided to wait until the lunch break to have a better look at the tables. Later in the day I did get to meet and have a chat with you as you had just finished your game.
Thanks for the shout out. I thoroughly enjoyed John Savages Vietnam game this was the second version I’d played and I thought it flowed really nicely. The best I can say is that it felt like Vietnam should be. Which I think is the mark of a good rule set. Matt Slade and I played the US and Pete (from Aus) and another chap played the VC. It came all the way down to the last turn when the US moral broke after suffering too many casualties. The VC moral was just hanging on but they hadn’t been so bothered about the casualties we’d inflicted. Just like the really thing 👍🏻.
Hi Alex, nice update.
Ive just enrolled myself for Operation Nightingale, I think it will be great to get involved.
Nice one!

You're welcome and thanks massively for the Huey! John's table looked ace and I was welly jelly of those playing it!
I have the Napoleonic uniforms version of that book. Great to have a book to flip through and get inspired.
They certainly are!
Another enjoyable update, thank you! Nicely painted lifeguards. I would enjoy a GDA2 vid if you are minded. Cheers.
Thank you, unfortunately I didn't get a GDA2 game filmed this weekend. But will do in the future.
Looking forward to the potential upcoming videos, particularly CoC Vietnam.
Me too!
