    Great video and module! I visited the swamp flux booth at superbooth 2023 and been following since then. But this content really got me hooked even more. Thanks for the in-depth video!

      Thank you! That’s amazing that you’ve been following along. Wray is working hard at it and also trying to make sure it’s really usable and musical when it gets into people’s cases. I honestly just wanted to do that hard work justice haha. Thanks for watching!

    Killer video! I especially love the slow jam at the end but generally this has got to be one of the better product demo videos that I've seen !

      Thanks so much! I aim to entertain and make things interesting. Modular is a journey and sometimes those journeys are outside of the case. This wild module is the perfect example. I couldn’t resist trying to piece together a sweet opening part of the video. That chill jam was a lot of fun! I had seen a video of the manufacturer sitting on the board and thought it was an amazing idea! If y’all keep watching, I’ll keep learning! For real though, super appreciate you sitting through a looong one. I did have another jam that was basically a live melodic sequencing but figured that would be pushing it. I’ll post that at some point though.

      Haha! Thanks for having me chime in and ask questions and goodness, thanks for making this! Ideas into reality - love it! Hope the rest of the journey to launch is a good one!

    20 seconds in and its like the 40th shot/edit already what is this production quality turbo cmon I can't keep up with this level of polish 🙌

      Haha thanks! Honestly, it’s me being stoked about videos and learning some new stuff. Video is hard haha. It’s making things a fun challenge to try and show and tell stories about the journey. And hey, it’s not competition I don’t think. We all have different things we focus on and offer. If anything, it’s like we’re playing shows together! Also, feel like I can catch up on videos I missed while I was piecing this together.

    Could make for a really fun liveset! Really enjoy your videos!

    • @turbotambourine
      @turbotambourine  8 месяцев назад +1

      Exactly!!! Not only could you control the board but say if someone else that’s playing with you wants control over some element of your patch, instantly doable! I also wondered about building a larger platform you could walk around. Lots of applications!

      Why thank you! Electronic music as a whole is this new thing haha. I guess I need to dig more into Aphex Twin! Grew up listening to so much punk rock haha. Thanks so much for watching!

    Really cool! Haven’t watched the whole vid yet, but, I hope it will be able to connect to other stuff as well

    • @turbotambourine
      @turbotambourine  8 месяцев назад

      Haha. Do you mean the balance board or the module? The module is like the missing link (big foot haha) that connects the board with your eurorack. But from there, you could control lots of other things with control voltage!

    What a cool module and a great example how modular synthesis allows creative sound shaping.
    Happy for you that you could test the prototpe! Awesome video with in-depth testing & patching. Well done 👍🏻 😊

      Isn’t it haha. This module really helps to show how powerful modular synths too you’re right! Glad you liked the video! I always aim to have some patching and explaining. I’ve learned so much from that kinda stuff.

      Thanks! There’s so much more interview! It was great to chat with Wray! So much goes into making these things. The module is very fun and I wasn’t expecting to be won over as I was. Wish I had a scope to show off the related modulation as they compare to one another!

      @turbotambourine  8 месяцев назад

      That’s so fun! Oh yeah! Wiimotes are very cool too! I remember going to a show long ago and seeing someone control projections with a game controller. Endless possibilities with a lot of this tech!

      @turbotambourine  8 месяцев назад +1

      @@semi788 it’s so dang fun! Do it! Tag along for rest of the journey of the rev3! The nitty gritty I think I saw was on patreon! I haven’t ever played a show but I will definitely bring this along if I do. It’ll eliminate any of the inherent standing too still haha.

    • @swampflux

      The moment I went from silly idea to do-it was on stage. I ran out of hands and my body was bumping but not giving anything to the sound. It is 100% for performance, yes. You will love it for performance.

    • @semi788
      @semi788 8 месяцев назад +1

      yess that makes so much sense! i play dj and live shows very often. i play 1 live show at least a month and sometimes 4, mostly in a club and its mostly dance music. that makes so much sense to have your body movement in a''logical'' way to modulate stuff. im already moving or tapping to the music. nice work!@@swampflux

      @@lewisdavis780 I highly suggest! Ray has done a ton more work from this prototype. The final production release looks amazing and seems so much more responsive and super solid on the UI. Honestly, it’s on my list too, a couple things ahead of it mind you considering I do have the prototype but I def want that black panel. So sweet looking!
