Yours was the first video recommended for my search...and it was a very well made, soothing vid. Unlike the loud music and hype in the other road trip vids I'm used to seeing. Wife liked it and we'll definitely make a trip to gokarna soon.
Nice and a one brilliant decision that you have picked. The girls are seems to be of athletic kind. Two bigger SUVs, one of your school friend and with her family and second you and your family on a way to trip and that to a destination like Gokarna. And in between of journey another two people you met. Last but not the least, taking a halt in between of your journey and doing a small picnic. That's really adds an extra punch for touring. I am quite confident, that by doing such kind of outing you are not surviving in your lives, rather you are living your lives. Even you are putting a core foundation of touring mind in those kids that will make them much more healthier and even help them to look at life with a different & positive perspective. Really it will impact on their young minds..... All the best to you 👍👍👍 and loves ❤️❤️❤️ you. Upload much more videos like this.
very nice video.... seen and heard for 1st time as i m from Mumbai and havent expored these places yet.. nicely edited as well.... will definately visit this place once..
Loved the video. I hope there is no ghats from Bangalore to Gokarna ( I’m a new driver not even average 😅 hence asking ) I’m okay to avoid jog falls if there are ghats but want to be sure if the road is east between Bangalore to Gokarna.
Thank you. Ghats are there, but nothing major like hair pin bends. If you are not feeling very confident, suggest u get along a friend who can help you if the need arises.
If you have to go to any beach on west coast from Bengaluru you'll have to drive on ghats. The ghat you get on Gokharna route from Bangalore Via Joga (Sagara) is not that hard to drive. If still in doubt, start with small distance drives to the places like Coorg and Chikmagalur so that you'll get used to the terrain also. Then you can proceed to longer drives.
Very nice video . I am planning a trip to Gokarna soon , just wanted to clarify the route you suggested via shivmoga seems takes 1 hour more as per Google vs other via davngare but seems to be more scenic . How much time you took to reach . Thanks
We took almost 14 hours, but that's because we took several stops; breakfast, lunch, detour to Jog falls! The route we took was very scenic, rolling hills at some places much like Scotland!!!! But if u like to cruise on highways, via Davangere would be better! Do note our trip was made in Oct 2020!

@@StoriesOnWheels9 Thank you very much :)
@@anuraoy90 Thank you very much :)
There is a 15 kms long ghat section called gerusoppa ghat in between Jog falls and Honnavr. It is not very steep ,one can drive comfortably

@@StoriesOnWheels9 Thanks ! This is helpful .
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Planning from Hyderabad
Do add Yana caves to the itinerary.
How is the road condition through Shimoga now? How is the road condition through Davanagere? Which one do you suggest? Travelling on 27th Dec
Suggest you take the route we took, left at Neelmangala...it was pretty decent with just a few diversions in between due to road widening works.
@@StoriesOnWheels9 Thank you
Great editing... Could you pls let me know the video editing sw used? Paid or free?
Davinci Resolve 16, free version. All gear details in the description. Good luck.
Is Jog Falls on the way or it's a detour?
Slight detour. Barely 10/15 kms if am not mistaken!
@@StoriesOnWheels9 cool. Also hopefully no ghat roads on the way to Gokarna from Bangalore?
@@47Shakti There will be a bit after/around Jog falls, but nothing extreme for even an average driver.
Thanks for the info!
Most welcome. Do watch the next episodes for ideas on where to stay and places to visit in and around Gokarna.
You are from Bangalore and not speaking kannada 🤬🤬🤬
you(nithish) are from bangalore and not speaking kannada

Hello, this trip was done in Oct 2020. Not sure about current route updates.
Do u know how is NH48 route now a days?
Have not traveled in that route in the past 2 years. So unable to say.
