don't get me wrong I love Austin but it's been a long time since we had a Birm and Bill episode and it's great!
XICH looks like what they looked like before Conner.
You together are by far the best team! Great work guys!
Eleven Warriors also pointed out that if only we would've thrown bottles onto the field, we could've overturned that JJ pass interference...
My issue with the Oline is it always seems like we are lucky to 5 good starters and then it’s a struggle. If you have 18 scholarship linemen (7 tackles, 7 guards, 4 centers) hypothetically, we should have guys on the roster that are ready to go.
My biggest worry is the defensive scheme. On paper we have the best defensive roster in the nation. Not sure why we can get any pressure on the quarterback. Not sure why we’re dropping our 300 lb D tackles in coverage + leaving our corners on islands when doing that. Not sure why we don’t play more depth. Jim Knowles better get his shit together.
I’d be worried about it also when you know the Hoosiers are coming to pick it apart in a few weeks…
Nathan Rourke lol it's Kurtis. I know that so well because its by brother's middle name and his is with a K too haha good show, guys.
Birm said Kurtis Rourke several times before he said Nathan. It was just a slip of the tongue.
Awesome as always thanks guys go bucks ❤️ agreed birm 💯
After the game game over the half way point we have seen all the contenders. IF Zen can hold down the LT spot I think OSU is actually a MUCH more dangerous team Larry and Knowles MUST be on the same page. If they do those two things and turn loose JTT and Sawyer and turn Sonny loose on the QB Blitz the defense will be FEROCIOUS
I hope to see this team come out and play with some fire.
Is it possible for someone to analyze/breakdown zone blocking techniques? When one of our O lineman engage an opponent on a block, what is the objective, to drive the defender down field, or just shield him away from the running lanes, or both? Does driving the d line down field matter anymore? Are we teaching a technique that allows penetration into the backfield as long as our lineman keep their backs to the RB as he tries to find a crease? The sequence appears to be: stand up with knees slightly bent at the snap of the ball, catch the defender often allowing him to obtain leverage under our guys pads, then while on your heels struggle to shield the defender from the RB. It appears to me these habits bleed over to non-zone schemes too, where our guys just don't seem to be able to obtain any leverage, not able to get low and drive with legs and hips. Little to no downfield push, in fact line play seems to increasingly occur on our side of the ball. A trend I have noticed over the past three years. Please...anyone knowledgeable care to comment? Would certainly appreciate it.
There ain't a horse that can't be rode and a cowboy that can't be throde.
I still am not comfortable chalking up this Nebraska game as an automatic. IU was able to pressure Raiola and make him incredibly uncomfortable. If we can’t do that (struggle in that area) and Raiola is comfortable in the pocket... it could be a much different outcome.
Indiana is for real and I really hope we take them seriously
They are starting to get beat up physically they just dont have the qualitative depth that OSU has.
oh okay so we can just roll our helmets out there and win by 40+? Got it 🥴
You can point out OSU's problem and give them the answers until you're blue in the face. Well, they were all played out this weekend. DEFENSE! You see how Georgia beat a great team when scoring 30 points, DEFENSE!! PASS RUSH!!. STOP talking about the OSU offense. If you fix the defense, all those stupid offensive issues disappear. With ALL the talent on the roster, there is zero reason OSU's defense and line play is so bad. Unexceptable.
Look at Illinois and Indiana, I believe Illinois cause 3 turnovers against Mich. Does Indiana have more talented players? NO, its COACHING! Knowels and Larry are a horrible combination. FIX IT!
Too much
If the Knowles and Johnson issue isn't ironed out its gonna be the same problem with no rush, no pressure, no sacks etc.
Thanks guys🎉GO BUCKS😤💯
UGA's D, which mauled TEX, will have no problem with ORE's O. The kind of defense the Dawgs displayed in Austin is exactly the kind of defense I'd like to see the Silver Bullets unleash should they face "Dishonest" Dan and his deplorable Spitting Ducks again. Its tone and tenor were savage.
Oregon’s QB play is much better than Texas and they also have more skill on the outside and at RB.
@@michaelkurywchak9409😂😂 are you kidding me
@@smalltowntxscratcher6573it’s a fact if you actually watch the tape instead of listen to the ESPN spoonfeeding
@michaelkurywchak9409 the only QB to give Georgia trouble is Alabama's. He can run and throw. Oregon's QB is the same. He would be a problem for them.
Doesn't matter how much skill you have out there if Georgia D line plays like they did against TX@@michaelkurywchak9409
"One of the worst P5 teams", Purdue. Scored 49 on Illinois the week before Michigan managed 7 against Illinois
I honestly don’t see anyone else play LT besides zen what other options are there ?
I have not seen a game the past few years I feel a team truly outplayed OSU. Our coaching and developing has been what we need it to be
I understand exactly what Birm is saying, concerning Jeremiah Smith u
Birm was 100 % right
Indiana comes off a bye week before coming to Columbus too
I now have a good feeling about us playing Michigan this year!🙂
That’s like fighting a fighter in his prime 3 straight times and losing; then brag about beating him the fourth time when he’s got two broken arms
@@bigike33 Nah, this is college football, not combat sports. There is no such thing as a "prime" with roster turnover. There are just runs and some runs are better than others.
Telling us not to be excited about the ass whooping that's coming is like telling UM not to be excited about the last 3 years of beating us bc they cheated. You think that would matter to them? Nah, lol (as it shouldn't). A rivalry win is a rivalry win and regardless of circumstances, it means a lot.
Furthermore, just 2 months ago, on this very same channel, you said beating Michigan meant more than winning the Oregon game, a conference title, and the natty. Now that they suck, it's less important and no one should be excited about it? That's flemsy logic at best, toxic fandom at worst.
I've had that feeling since the start of the season. Can't wait.
Let's not continue to talk about the refs Oregon won very even game
Exactly!!!
Who Dey, Birm!!
All top 5 teams have looked vulnerable. Georgia nearly gagged on Kentucky. Oregon nearly gagged on Boise State and Idaho. Texas finally played someone good, and lost by 2 scores. It's possible that Texas could lose again. Penn State needed an insane comeback to beat a 4 loss USC team and erasing a double digit deficit to Bowling Green. Then there's us, who lost a heartbreaker to Oregon, revealing that our defense has issues. I have no idea who the best team in the country is.
Also if M loses to Sparty, I think you'll see their best players have conversations about exiting the program.
Zach Boren, an honest broker who is not afraid to speak the truth on the issue plaguing OSU in recent years: "not being able to control the line of scrimmage, and that's on both sides of the ball." Until our staff can figure out why this has been the case for so long, we are in for continual disappointment against near peer competition.
There are definitely one or two long-term injuries that haven’t been made public yet.
Who ?
Birm lives in MI? What the heck
College football is all about additions and departures!! For Michigan, they lost their biggest piece!! Mr. Stallions ain’t walking through that door anytime soon!
i really have my doubt ohio state is going to beat penn state
Bro penn state is really overrated they are not a top 5 school very different the Oregon
Completely agree not overly confident we beat them
3 score game.
Doom and gloomers. OSU objectively rolls Penn St.
We win by 10 plus
Without Will Johnson, Michigan can't stop the pass. Michigan will go 6 and 6 only if they beat Michigan State
Zero doubt .. Indiana beats Michigan. Blow has to play Oregon the week before .. very emotional game .. then goes TO Indiana.
Purdue is the worst team in the Big Ten. So what? Notre Dame scored 66 on them. QUACK
Texas was just welcomed to the SEC where intellectual integrity is a complete OXYMORON
Ohio State needs to fix the defense!!! If it doesn’t, they won’t win the natty!!!!
Nick Saban is the Goat he asked Desmond on game day when he picked TTUN to beat Illinois lol Saban said have you ever picked against them lmao Big L its season over for Ttun LMAO wait till sanctions come
Lesmond is useless and a complete waste of space on Game Day.

What is the definition of insanity? Doesn't at least 3 years of getting handled on the line of scrimmage, on both sides of the ball against competent competition, and not addressing it, kind of fit the definition? But, look at all the big guys from OSU on NFL rosters. So, if it's not the talent, what is going on? Are we teaching/reinforcing techniques to prepare them for the next level that right out of high school that most our guys are not ready to effectively employ? And, Lord have mercy if someone gets hurt. Why do we have such a drop-off when our back-ups come in? You can see and hear the fear in both these guys dispositions on who replaces Simmons.
I thought the Ducks looked dominant against Purdue on both sides of the ball. Secondly, since this keeps coming up, I was horrified to see Traeshon Holden spit on the Ohio State defensive back. That's not Oregon football. He didn't play against Purdue, and I'm curious to see how long he is disciplined by Dan Lanning. I want a long, enjoyable rivalry between the Ducks & Buckeyes. There is no place for that behavior. Go Ducks! 🦆
Davis either sucks or don't wanna play for ttun. Only 2 things that make sense
Birm looks great.. lately ❤

The call against jj smith is not the same as the one against Texas. let it go.
Can we stop bitching about the Jeremiah Smith OPI already? Conveniently forgetting Oregon was robbed of a clear interception on our first TD drive
Absolutely..don't think there's much room to complain about any officiating after that missed interception happened. We got outcoached flat out and at times, outplayed. Plain and simple.
ARTICLE 4. A simultaneous catch or recovery is a catch or recovery in which there is joint possession of a live ball by opposing players inbounds.
Approved Ruling 7-3-6 I. Two opposing players receive a legal forward pass while both are off the ground, and both players return to the ground inbounds at the same time. RULING: Simultaneous catch; the ball is awarded to the passing team (Rule 2-4-4).
Approved Ruling 7-3-6 II. Two opposing players receive a ball while both are off the ground, and one player returns to the ground inbounds before the other. RULING: No simultaneous catch. The legal forward pass is completed or intercepted by the player who first returned to the ground (Rule 2-4-4).
You clearly are very emotional right now and missed the entire point of the conversation. I promise things will get better.
Thanks for posting on simultaneous possession. It was close but both guys had the ball for a moment on the ground
@@UncleRicoOSUnah brother I’m great. Just want us to put the game behind us and move forward and be better.
Michigan could realistically lose 4 of their next 5 games .. missing not only the playoffs, but any bowl game. And many .. Joel Klatt, Colin Cowherd, etc .. said because of their D they'd still be one of the top teams. That view was always laughable .. given no more CHEATING, loss of entire coaching staff and O-line, etc.
MUCHO BS --- lots of bad officiating ! - - - Big 10 -- > INDIANA is the shocker ! ! ! > M just might have '''more losses''' than we 'now' expect ?!?
Birm comes off nervous with anxiety. Maybe why he's constantly blinking. Somewhat odd???? 🤔🤔🤔
Ransom broke his foot in practice
