Based on the manual, you can use and edit your samples and the ones that come with the device. 😮 You upload using Synthtribe as .WAV files. I just don't know how much memory is on this device.
Yeah, this thing isn’t really a “clone” of a Linndrum. It’s more like a Digitak Jr. that comes loaded with LM-1 and Linndrum sample packs. All of those individual signal outs make this thing interesting for use with pedal effects. Load whatever samples you want into it and use different effects for each sound. Serious potential.
I have the Digitakt and haven't figured out everything it can do yet, so there's no LM Drum in my future (at least not for a long time), but I do find the per-voice pan and fade controls attractive. That, with the dedicated tuning knobs make it seem like it would be fun to sit and play it as a musical instrument.
LONZA! I didn't realize that you were up on this!!! I was just peeping this out yesterday and I came across this video today. The title "LM" is a play on cursives. If you look at it hard enough Lm = Linn. I hope you've checked it out since it's release
I have quite a few products from Behringer. I love how affordable their versions of classic kit are. Its like having retro synths and drum machines without breaking the bank. Right now ive got the RD6, RD9, TD3, MS101, and and teeming with excitement for their Linn Drum clone Something about the Linn Drum just does it for me
You can load your own samples. Calling this a “clone” really isn’t correct imo. It’s not a copy of the Linndrum. It just comes preloaded with LM-1 and Linndrum sounds.
It’s more like its own unique drum sampler that is packaged to look like the Linndrum aesthetically for marketing and pre loaded with good quality Linndrum sounds. The touch pads, the display screen, the sequencer, etc. are things the Linndrum could never have dreamed to have because the technology didn’t exist in the 80’s. Of course, this is my opinion based on the specs on the website and the one video from Behringer so it’s possible I’m missing something (which is why I won’t be a buyer before seeing some reviews and some jam sessions with it). The market is saturated with sample based drum kits so I think it’s clever to package the product as a “new Linndrum”, but the downside is people just look at it like a clone and the uniqueness of the product gets lost in the marketing.
Thanks!
Cool, I didn’t know Behringer made a remake of the Linn Drum
Leave Behringer alone, saving you headaches.
Leave Behringer alone, brother.
I’m eyeing the LM Drum as well

Bruh, I never ask for music equipment for Christmas or birthday gifts because everyone in my family are broke asses. 🤣🤣🤣

I got my LMDrum preordered. I'm stoked!
Congrats. I’m in the wait list.
im patiently waiting for this
It looks like it WILL be able to sample. At 8 or 12 bit though. But that is part of that dusty sound that we love.
I so hope it has sample rate and bit reduction.

Hey Behringer, we need to hear your Lm Drum !!!
What’s the hold up ??
It’s in production so while we wait. We just stay productive lol. Thanks for watching !!!! 🎅🏾🎅🏾🎅🏾🎅🏾🎅🏾🎅🏾
It's definitely not a Roger Linn product even if Roger sold. Behringer doesn't answer the phone. Putting you on game.
I love my Behringer 808!!!!!!

@@BeatsbyLonza Sweetwater is calling it a "revival". Not sure that's entirely accurate either. 🙂
