Something similar happened where I live, the girls boyfriend killed her 4 year old daughter. The mom sit and let him abuse both her children and ultimately kill her 4 yr old. Abuse went on for a year and a half and she knew about it. So sad :( to choose a man over your own children

I've literally been single for almost four years as a Single Women of three children Im extremely skeptical of bringing men home, dating or allowing "friends" to meet my children and people give me flack for it. If I have to be single until they're young Adults I'm okay with that my Mom & Dad are involved and supportive. That little boy must've been so scared & that "Mom" did NOTHING to save her boy she needs to be charged to. I've fought my way out with an extremely violent Ex and I'll never feel bad for it. My son is now 22 and my daughter 18. They were never molested, abused or murdered BECAUSE I made sure of that! Absolutely nothing comes before my children!

Yep... people like me. When my military ex-husband thought he wanted to be that type of man, I spent 10 years flat on a 15-year sentence to convince him my sons nor I wasn't his punching bag. Being a Black woman convincing a white man in the State of Texas that I am willing to die for my children rather than stay in an abusive relationship costed me one-fifth of my life's freedom.

@@SueZeeQ28 The thing is it worked up to that point and he no doubt displayed signs that he was a threat long before he killed her child and held her captive. The time to have acted and left or killed him came and went then she found herself with a dead child and in no position to flee or kill him.

I think everyone is jumping to conclusions. Yes, no emergency calls were placed but it is a huge assumption to say that the mother didn't call of her own volition. She very well could've been restricted from accessing phones. It seems inappropriate to me to jump to conclusions and speak rudely about potential victims when this story is still developing as we speak.
