Umar talks up HBCU's but he never attended one. When asked where he got his education Umar states that he got his 4 year degree and a masters from Millersvillle University. He said that he then went on to another masters program at Lehigh University. He then went on to the Phd program in Pyschology at PCOM (Pennsylvania College of Medicine). I will say that Sanders went for the best offer. We actually need black players and coaches at schools like Colorado that play on the big stage. A big problem with sports at HBCU's for an aspiring coach/athlete is that the HBCU's donot play on the big stage. I will further say that a school does not need big time sports to be a big time school. Harvard, Yale, Princeton, UChicago, John Hoskins and many other fine institutions are not really into big time sports.
Bigtime, & he is Well Aware!!😂 You see how he turned back to talk about Deion. He tried to find a way in😂 then ended the video. He didn't feel too defeated this way😂😂 They can't get with Dr. Umar.

Either there's alot Umar doesn't know about Prime and Jackson State or he's been misinformed from a biased perspective by other HBCU heads who are simply hating on Prime for leaving. Prime got to Jackson and elevated the program. The school itself got the overflow of that in so many ways. However, there was only so much Prime could do relative to what the school or the HBCU administrative community would let him do (or offer support for.) Prime wanted to shoot for the stars, but the HBCU powers that be, didn't want to come up. They fell short in a comfort zone and took for granted the resources they had in Prime. Umar seriously needs to have a sit-down conversation with Coah Prime and listen. No cameras. Just a man-to-man conversation so Umar can know what went down at Jackson. The HBCU community missed the opportunity had in Prime. It's their fault. They took it for granted and the boat sailed.
@@jimone732 How about you do the research for yourself. It's all public information and much can be found on youtube. I wanted to put my statement out there based on the facts. The host eliminated his own argument, it’s critical to have revolutionary consciousness, simply put, the church got it, in that, they say” be in it, but not of it”.👊🏿
He is in no position to criticize Deion... We know that Umar went to Millersville U in Pa, a school with 3% black students and 0 African American professors. He could have went right down the road to Lincoln U, the first historically black college in the country. And to think that he took the money he raised from the black community and then gave it to a white contractor was just disgusting and impossible to justify given his politics. Then to defend that action by essentially saying (not an exact quote) that the white contractors were superior to the black contractors. That is reprehensible and is nothing more than a black man practicing white supremacy. Somebody make it make sense. And don't even get me started with his psychopathology concerning colorism.
Hell he could of went to Temple University which is known to accept a high rate of black students because it's in the heart of the city. Umar claims he's for black women but he only has sex with them and make babies with them but he won't take care of them or marry them.
He never said they were superior. He simply said he had no choice because trying to use our own people set him back two years. Sometimes ourn own folks can't do right and that's just the facts. Mission gotta continue.
the school is actually finished if people would stop talking out of ignorance and actually do some research. He's been putting up videos documenting the whole process. He's still in need of a few things. But maybe you can help him, since it took you less than 10 yrs to get your school up and running

Deion put HBCU'S on main stream. This man in his three years has done more for HBCU'S than Umar has done in his entire activism career. Umar is about self, hence why he names himself. King Kong Consciousness. Bruh, who calls you that?
H.b.c.u.'s are going bankrupt and being taking over while Colorado is raking in doe with their new lawn jockey on display. Don't post a comment this stupid ever again if you for our existence.
Coach Prime is only an example. Umar is speaking as the race as a 1 Unit. People are acting like they do not understand this which is why we will never have wealth. I am a huge Fan of Coach but as a people I felt we truly needed him at a HBCU. He brought back more excitement and buzz which was slowly going to translate to money. Our 5 Star athletes returning to HBCU's. Better games, more fans, more money, tv time, endorsements, better facilities for the school. Every group understands this except 1.

First of all as a man first, and then a black man. My duty is to God first, second to my family, and then third to my people. And when it comes to Deon he tried and wanted to bring exposure to the black colleges, and actually did that. But all people talk about is him leaving. But do you know what he went through, while he was there. Dealing with with people breaking into his office, and other things. That's why he took up for Ed Reed, when he went to Bethune college. Ed went there and challenged the conditions, and brought things to the light. Because he wanted to make things better for the young men. But they got mad and tried to make it like he was the problem and fired him. You can't blame Deon, and one or two people on our situation. If that's the case. Umar, you talk a good game, but besides taking. What have you actually done. What happened with your school and all the money black people have donated to you opening your school. But you still haven't opened it up yet. Or refunded the money that was donated. Deon, as well as any other man regardless of race. Duty is to God first then his family then his community.

The host may not realize that numerous brothers and sisters have selflessly devoted themselves to causes that uplift their communities. This isn't limited to our race; people of all races have dedicated themselves to such endeavors, with Umar being one example for the black community. When a black man or woman attains significant success and fails to use their influence to support their community, we all lose strength with each missed opportunity. It's disheartening when those who have reached the top one percent don't act in our collective interest. I also recognize that many influential black individuals face restrictions, but it's important to acknowledge that not everyone has the same capabilities as Umar. which is black first, black first every our race does it.

Facts, I'd never looked up to athlete's actor's or rappers, in the streets they would walk right pass you like you didn't exist even after you had a whole podcast phrasing them 🤣🤣
HBCU leadership is not knowledgeable enough to handle business at the Division I level. They need to hire consultants. Jackson State couldn't even distribute game ticket revenue properly. On the flip side, Colorado and all other D1 colleges do the same with the money, but they invest some of it back into the sports program and the athletic foundations pay the salaries of the staff, so "the coaches" wouldn't know where all the revenue went. Jim Harbaugh called this out recently.
The people who Umar debates are always more worried about black celebs than black citizens. They want to hear about black people until a black celeb is being called out, then they just defend that celeb, especially if that celeb is a sports celebrity. There are less than 10 black celebs that are for the people, and black men need to get over the star obsession and start thinking about the community.

No it wouldn't. You just wanna see Black men squabble with one another. They need to jointly address these issues in the community.
