So I watched Gambino's first and saw the mess happening in the comments, and came here to compare. And honestly all I can say is that the argument disappoints me. These are two entirely different songs. The the beats in back are close, but between logic and gambino, they could not be more different. Apples and oranges, rap and hip-hop, you just can't hold the two to the same standards and get a reasonable response.

All of these people making comments about how logic "cant rap" or that he has "no style" are crazy. I promise that he does and even more so than most rappers that i have heard these days. i appreciate all music. when you guys have studied music and poetry for more than 6 years, then come up here and talk because you obviously do not understand time signature, beats of a measure, upbeats, downbeats, eighth or sixteenth notes. or rhyme and meter along side meaning and how to shape rhyme into your meaning. I have very much studied these things and Know that he is on beat and he is not rushing or lagging or missing a beat. Also for all of you making "opinions" you cant make an opinion on something that is already fact. this fact being that he is in time and on beat. Also he doesn't rap fast if you want to know who does then listen to busta rhymes. And for you Vox, continuity is (as it says) continuing, logic does very well at continuing a "phrase" and not breaking the "groove or vibe" of the phrase. his style is actually smooth and connected and without break. so he does actually indeed have "style"

I think you like it more because logic could do more, he could use instrumentals and sample songs like he can't do under a label (he has to make most of his stuff now). Like this Adele sample is lovely but he wouldn't be able to do that now. I do think his rap skills are better now tho
