Illl watch ANYTHING SABU !!!!! A fan of wrestling since 85 and he is right up in my tippy top faves ! Cant help it !
I kinda wish he asked him about Hayabusa or their tag matches in ECW with RVD. He is my favorite Sabu then guys like Mike Awesome, RVD, Ricky Steamboat, Road WArriors, Hayabusa etc.
@@Daoloth Good call !!! I bought 3 Volumes of the best of Hayabusa in the 90s ! Plus tons of FMW tapes he was in . I was crushed when he got paralyzed and later died . Have you seen him vs Sabu in japan ? Im sure you have .
@@Brando-Lee3725 I seen Hayabusa against Sabu from FMW in the fan edited match as the only I really know from there. He wrestled Mike Awesome in ECW but only seen bits of that match from the vault. You seen him without his mask wrestling as Ezaki or what his real name is? I seen match when Shawn Michaels is the ref. They had some weird Tokyo Pop things where were like at comic shows or other conventions doing matches. On YT I seen the Bath House match with like HeadShrinkers or something against Tarzan Goto another dude. I don't have much on DVD or Blu Ray for Wrestling just some random matches on computer like Born to Be Wired. I got him wrestling Cactus Jack in that CAsino which is pretty popular for Sabu too. Brett FMW has a lot of Sabu if your into him and Hayabusa.
@@Daoloth Yes my friend Eiji Ezaki f my spelling is correct ! An yeah thats the same Sabu match i think . Its cut into clips , but its a big part of the match . One of my favorite Hayabusa matches is him and Masato Tanaka Vs. Terry Funk and Mr.pogo in the no rope barbedwire double hell explosion match when it comes to that style . He also had great matches in AJPW that were more technical involving Misawa and Shinzaki etc.. Cool to meet another fan who appreciates Hayabusa ! I liked his matches with Great Sasuke and Taka Michinoku as well now that i think back
Actually the Sabu vs Hayabusa match i saw was NJPW Junior tournament ! Its all coming back to me now ! Sabu vs Kannemoto was killer too . sorry , my brains racing along and weve now hijacked this Sabu interview comment section ! Sorry James ! And absolutely no disrespect to you Sabu !!!!

Super genie was the perfect compliment to Sabu . When Sabu climbed to the top rope, she would stand in position and throw the chair straight up into Sabu's hands . To the people seated around the other 3 ringposts it looked like the chair appeared in his hand....like magic

I recommend people read or listen to Shiek's autobiography. You'll learn alot about Edward Farhat's early life, getting into wrestling, promoting Big Time, and wrestling very late in his career. Highly recommended

Sabu is my favorite so its kinda funny how they brought him back to literally save ECW. Here is dude whose having checks bounce for 750 while Paul Heyman is living it up in WWE. He never makes good on what he owes him but holds a grudge or fired him for getting paid actual money for 6K instead of his peanuts. Shame he botched WCW as everybody else seemed to get paid if only he asked for like 1K a match or something better. Either way I think he only worked right in FMW along with ECW. He held the NWA Championship longer than Kerry Von Erich or many others I think its like 38 days. I probably talked to him more than Vince McMahon also met him with Sandman when they were in ECW WWE not long after Hammerstein show CM Punk Debut.
Eric Embry is a name you dont hear much about . Get him on James ! I think hes still alive ????Right ?? Id LOVE to hear some of his stories

He's in my top five. Sabu is the hardcore version of Bret Hart. Ive never seen a boring match from the guy.

I love Sabu. At an Indie show in Taylor Michigan I saw him wrestle Al Snow. Sabu got juice about 5 minutes in. He came out on the floor, walked to where we were sitting. I handed him my chair, he nodded at me and went back to work. The best thing was I got some of his blood on my shirt. Those were the days.

Sounds like Bischoff's contract was similar to WWF"s contract at the time. The guarantee was 2-3 dates a month, but everyone was given a lot of work. Did Sabu misunderstand and just get combative like he was with Stephanie? Almost no one at the time was getting large guaranteed contracts until WWF and WCW started seriously going head to head. Bischoff is also known for trying to throw his weight around, and that might have rubbed Sabu the wrong way.

lol.. REALLY? Dumbest comment on a shoot interview I've ever heard. This guy actually said Hogan's matches weren't formulaic... ??? lol It's okay to like Hogan. I did too. But come on. If you you've seen one Hogan match you've seen them all. That's like saying Roddy Piper once poked his opponent in the eye during a match... lol
That was probably his way of keeping the flow of the interview. Plus if your channel is dedicated to conducting shoot interviews, you probably don't want to bury anyone even if the subject doesn't like the person who is brought up.

I think he was trying to say Hogam Matches were all different not like scripted or worked where its the same exact match every single time like Ric Flair for example hahaha. Does it depend if he was Hollywood Hogan or not? I think he dropped ball not saying Mike Awesome one of best big men ever. Hogan only had like 5 moves so I can see how would see him as formulaic ;).
