Actually, sharks have a VERY efficient digestive system. Their stomach acids can break down almost anything, and if they ingest too much stuff they can't digest, they can just throw it back up out of their mouths, even turning their stomachs inside-out to make sure they expel everything.
I remember having one of those sharks as a toy when I was very young. Finally know where it came from haha
