Some of the other dramas I have seen had ended on a sad or indefinite note. As such, they were disappointing despite those stories being good. I honestly enjoyed this drama. My first time viewing a movie by Jerry. Jerry Yan demonstrated his skills and ability his emotional range was superb 👏. I love how he could be stern, @ times cruel but exhibited depth in his emotion to demonstrate love to his son and at times Wutong. I loved the young man that played his son, and the actor that played Jerry's brother and arch nemesis. He was wonderful as well. I've seen him in several movies, he's really great @ his craft. I would also have to give an acting nod to Ms.Tong Liya, she was fantastic, such a sweet character and the actress who portrayed Jerry's mom, she played the hell out of that mean mother role. I literally dislike this woman because she was so on point 👉 in her role to where you saw how her son personality and behavior was formed OMG 😲!!! IT made sense. I Loved, Loved 👍 the ending.. Great Drama.

What a wonderful ending! I'm so glad that both the mother and baby lived because this whole reunited family deserved a sweet gift from God. All of the actors did a spectacular job in their portrayal of their character. So many of them brought out feelings of hate, anger, frustration, pain from their past, betrayal, greed and love that could be felt throughout this drama. Thank you for a heartfelt story.

I came back and watched every single episodes until the end. Just finished at 3:29 Jamaica time. I enjoyed it to the fullest and I must say this has been one of the best Chinese drama I have ever seen. It is also the first time I watched the actor Jerry Yan and I must commend him on the brilliant and superb acting he has done. Thank you UTube for the English subtitles. You guys must remember that we are not chinese (lol) and most of us only speak english so the translations are very important and necessary to us fans/family of your dramas/series/movies etc., Please note also that the more we watch them, the more we love them. Your dramas have taken the world by storm. Superb acting from all involved and the characters were well chosen and played. The script was well written and directed. Oh my god this series has had me up and down emotionally. The tears have flowed so many times throughout and then I thought she had died 2 times in this episode (no subs telling me otherwise) then the biggest surprise she lives and the baby too. A very good series.

Oh my god this series has had me up and down emotionally. The tears have flowed so many times throughout and then I thought she had died 2 times in this episode (no subs telling me otherwise) then the biggest surprise she lives and the baby too. A very good series.
Awesome movie. He became a crier like his wife. Thought that was funny since he was such a tough guy. U put a gud looking bunch of actors together. Thanks for the entertainment.

Très bonne série avec plein de rebondissements et un bon dialogue J'ai aimé l'histoire sur la famille . les interprètes sont très bon bons dans les rôles sauf peut-être l'héroine que je trouve un peu nunuche Dans l'ensemble je l'ai suivi jusqu'au bout .
Jerry Yan 和 Tong Liya 还有其他主要演员都演得非常好。尤其是言承旭，感情非常入戏， 不愧是巨星。几个地方剧本写得有点仓促，不太合拍， 但绝对是很感人的一部剧。
