I grew up in this town and I always thought it was the most unique town in all of the United States in the way despite it having so much money it had hardly any businesses, so not only did people there make a lot of money, they also must have saved a lot, because none of the people I remember talking to ever went out to eat much. Unlike people in the West Hills, or any wealthy area of the city limits of Portland they weren't the intellectual type who would want to explore different kinds of ethnic foods, they were like the all American type who just wanted to eat hamburgers and pizza and watch sports, it was weird!

I remember back when this was a middle class suburb back in the eighties, Bonnie lynn was a good hamburger place, Milltown cafe was a good restaurant, neither of those places exist anymore, it used to be a really nice place, then starting in like the late nineties maybe it just became a bunch of rich assholes!
My grandpa used to have a shop there, I think he was a carpenter? Apparently he was very popular because whenever I said my last name people would say 'oh your related to him?!' I haven't lived there in years now but now there is a lot of rich snobs there.
Yeah just moved out in December and thank god I did it was hell everyone treated you terribly if you weren’t rich and the schools were terrible omg
Comparable only to Norway, parts of Sweden and Denmark in it's beauty, quality of life and calmness in whole world.
I grew up in Westl Linn back in the sixties and seventies
