I think sakuraco items are more like traditional japanese sweets and tea time theme while tokyo treats are more like japanese pop culture snacks. Love both boxes but I'll go with sakuraco because of its aesthetic and authenticity, for someone who prefer not too sweet snacks and savoury items it will be just perfect. Next time can you please try bokksu vs. Tokyo treats?

I loved the little Yoshi sound bite used when popping the snacks in your mouth. So cute! I've bought these boxes before and they are so fun to try and they really pack a lot of different snacks in there. I think it's great to get for yourself or a fun gift for someone.

I ordered a Sakuraco-Box and just had to pay a ridiculous high import tax. I am very happy nevertheless but if you have a tight budged you should check the tariff regulations of your country beforehand :)
The dish could be used for dips, for soy sauce when/if you are eating sushi, for putting your bones in when eating fish, you could use it as a candy bowl, you could use it to put sprinkles in when making a cake or an ice-cream sundae, you could serve a single scoop/serving of icecream/sorbet/jelly in it, you could use it to put some crisps/nuts/rice crackers in it.

So arare is “ah-rah-reh”. I want BOTH boxes, not gonna lie. I’m definitely more of a savory type, but I’d gladly take a full bag of peach KitKat! 😂😂
The size bowl would be great for sauces and ice creams. The Tokyo box isn’t alway that great! Trust me I bought a years worth for my daughter last year. But it dose a lot repeat the items in most boxs

I paid 139 US-Dollars for a three month subscription of sakuraco. But you have to be quite careful because I just had to pay a rediculous high import tax (Germany) which was higher than the single-price of the box. I guess this would happen with Tokyo-Treat too so maybe check this before you order
Without trying to offend those involved but I enjoyed more the Bokksu subscription unboxing .... so if I were to go for a Japanese subscription box I'd go for them since they look more fun (at least for me)

So there's this thing called 'rice paper candy' and it's literally little sticky piece of candy wrapped in edible paper. The first time I ate it I did the same thng and then got so frustrated I just was like "Whelp, I guess I'm meant to eat it!" and low and behold it just tasted like sweet rice paper over tamarind candies. If you havent tried Tamarind you should, it's very interesting. you either love it, or hate it because it's both salty and sweet.

If you Google the items you can fine them for sale online. Some of the prices are ridiculous though. Those boxes both look good but I’m not supposed to have soy and I noticed most of the items said they had soy.
If you like chocolate with marshmallows you should try out our American chocolate covered marshmallows usually shaped for kids in Santa’s for Christmas or bunny’s for Easter.

I mean I could go through Amazon but then you got to pay about triple the cost Kit Kat makes Peach, lemon, Raspberry, Strawberry, flavors that I would like ... so yummy. and tons of others I would not care for like tea's and Macha. and that Peach fanta I bet I would like that as well.

For the side dish you can use it as a soy sauce (or any type of dipping sauce) dish! If I were to use it though, I'd use it as a trinket dish :)
