  • Peco turntable has been fitted with DCC interface turntable kit, the bridge has been modified to work 360 degrees so no power lose on the turn, the Polarity switching is done with Digikeijs DR5013 and the MPD area is powered by a Digikeijs DR5033 booster.

Hw do you get the power feed to the turntable? The Peco kit has a split pickup with the deadzone which you have managed to counteract?

I jointed the rings and made it into one continuous ring I them use the center pin as the other track feed. A frog juicer dual is then used for the change over for track power

@@johnjmc did you have to only use one pickup plunger so as not to short circuit the arrangement? I've been wondering about this topic for a while.

I actually use both but they are linked and the ring it is now one solid piece, and the center pin is the other track

@@johnjmc is that what the frog juicer is for? Changing polarity and preventing a short?

@@johnjmc Hi John, that's interesting how repeatable is it? It looks spot on. I have a London Road models kit to build and was wondering on best motor solution. Cheers Steve

@Steven Smith seems to hit spot on every time.

Excellent. Where did you buy your coal hopper from? You don't see many of these on model railways but essential. Thanks.
