Kevin and Matt are incredible together! Been blessed enough to see them live 3 times, and it was life changing for me!!! But nothing will ever sound perfectly in sync like Kevin and Avi, in my humble opinion🙂
As a Pentaholic I really miss Avi, but at the same time I'm so happy that Avi now get to experiment more with his own beautifull voice, grow more as an artist. One of the reasons why he left PTX was that he didn't get to spend much time with his family, but now he gets to spend more time with his family still doing what he loves doing. I feel like he gets to show off his talents even more now than what he did when he was still them. I think he needed a little less restrictions and I think he feels less pressure now. I am so excited to see what more Avi has to offer.
Love this song, the original and their cover (upgrade). You should check out Kid on Christmas, which is Meghan Trainor and Pentatonix on their original song. Scott also was featured on a few of Meghan’s songs on the last album and he was in the video for Made you look with his fiancé.

I’ve recently come to learn more about Meghan Trainor, and credit where credit is due. First, she friends with Scott and Mark (and probably other members - not sure ), she co-wrote and recorded Kid On Christmas with PTX off their most recent album late last year, she married a freaking Spy Kid (WHAT!), she has a seriously good voice, and writes most of her own music. Like PTX, she’s the real deal.
It really helps if you either know the original or go and watch it first, because you can see all the changes they make to it. Another great recording of "No" is from one of their concerts where Mitch walks out on the runway part of the stage and does a little dance while he's singing. And, of course, it sounds just as good as this official video. By the way, in that one Mitch has white hair and Kirstie has a blonde mohawk! You need to check out Dan Vasc, he’s a metal guy from Brazil but has the most insane voice. Too many of his “upgrades” are great, so it’s hard to say one in particular, but his Amazing Grace is the best I’ve heard … EVER!

Not all of us miss him! Maybe unpopular opinion, but I prefer Matt's velvet tone!!! It's not all about who can sing lower for me. I love the energy of Kevin and Matt a thousand times more! It is like they were meant to perform together.

It would be nice to get through an entire video of yours without hearing you lament Avi. Not everyone feels the same as you. I used to enjoy your Pentatonix reactions and looked forward to them. Not so much anymore. Now I click off once you start lamenting. He CHOSE to leave Pentatonix. I wish people would respect HIS decision and let it go. He moved on. Would be nice if others would respect his choice and stop torturing those who do respect his choice.
