Minecraft would have actually been so much better if Notch had never sold it. Minecraft just isn't the same as it was pre 1.9.
@@vVearon Common misconception, Microsoft doesn't decide what happens with minecraft, Higher ups at Mojang do and In order to give you free and regular updates and they gotta make money somehow.
I didn't see any microtransactions on minecraft java.
Bedrock is completely different version. The microtransactions are not that bad, The concept is you create and publish if people buy you also get a cut. Its just the quality of the created content that is mostly bad.
The inventory is truly one of the most memorable aspects of Minecraft. Sometimes it’s as if the entire game is just an organizing simulator. Organizing in this game is really a skill (and it’s hard work!).

A trinket sustem had so much potential in placing said items in different biomes and structures to encourage exploration.

Make bundles have a similar function to the quiver.
I think people forget Minecraft was VERY inspired by dungeon crawler games and weirdly enough the official Minecraft dev book says Minecraft is no longer trying to be similar to one
if you've played on Wynncraft you know what most of that is.
only thing that was odd was the left and right hand being just indicating what was in your 1st and 2nd/last inv slot
the idea of a separate bundle style quiver for arrows is genious... storing 128 arrows (with say 32 of each kind max) in it could be a way to fix inventory jank...
I'm not certain how "allow several stacks of the same resource" translates to "allow only up to four stacks." Or how "regenerates health by 1" translates to "passive health regeneration." Y'all might be reading into this too much

We need a 9 slot leather bag. Not too big, not too small. Perfect size to be helpful mid game but not outlandishly so. Takes a little time to collect but not painfully tedious. People need to stop overthinking the inventory, the solutions are not complicated.
I mean the bundles work fine if you're really early game but they are kind of useless imo. Even if bundles had only 5 slots like a hopper they would've been way more useful.
I’m happy with the bundles helping to free up inventory, but this obsession people have with limiting features like 64 item bundles to make the game theoretically “balanced” somehow is really thickheaded. A simple 6 slot bag would have served about the same function as the bundle and been far less tedious and annoying to manage. Mojang limiting bundles to 64 items, instead of giving it proper slots, is basically just a needless half measure. Just give it a few slots of inventory space, the game balance isn’t going to collapse over players having a few extra desperately needed inventory slots. @@timecubed

I made the quiver you were talking about, with the bundle ui, in my mod parry this
Judging by deleted mobs like Rana and Beastboy, and how Notch's model is shown in inventory GUI, and other Notch's games... It seems like Minecraft would be really another game, other animations, maybe more like these fantasy-stereotyped games...
That inventory screen seems to be very similar to the one from Mount & Blade btw

Maybe you should be able to craft a bundle into a quiver whenever mojang figures out the bundle issue.

bros back and with a random obsession with notch 🔥
Notch did technically tinker with dungeon crawler rpg's, and civ management. Now we're in a day and age where there's more dungeons, bigger ones, and with more enemies and traps. They HAVE added onto the inventory with an offhand. Who knows, they might add more. They're _kinda_ adding magic, but in the form of a consumable instead of mana and skills. They added the mace, which isn't a staff, but now has wind charge related enchantments. Making it almost like a staff. You do technically have a defense and attack and speed stat, all of which affected by potions enchants or armor. You consistently eat food to heal and because you'll starve without it. These are all traits of a retro dungeon crawler.
And to top it off. Now you can build villages to a parameter programmed into the game, in order to make iron production, then proceed to make automation, and expand, thus also giving us civ management. Hallelujah.

It would be nice to have more equipment types beyond armor. It feels so limiting knowing we could have had more options if more RPG elements made it into the game.
