We are thrilled that you’re using Elestrals for this demo! I’ve already reached out via dm and I look forward to potentially partnering up. We’ve got about 20 models made and I’m sure we can find some ways to team up to make this happen without you fearing a cease and desist from the big corporations! Great stuff dude! Elestrals was founded out of passion, its clear you have plenty of that in your endeavors here. To the moon! 🎉
Not gonna lie, I was a bit bummed we aren't gonna see more YGO content from CrownCorp. But this comment and your sugestion of a potential partnership got my spirits up. Hope you all reach stardom.
Even though there has been a shift from a potential Yu-Gi-Oh AR dueling style program, just the fact the AR card games may actually end up becoming a reality in my lifetime is just incredible to think about. I'm honestly hoping that we'll be able to develop this even further to simulate holographics as well! I know that's probably decades into the future, but still i'm here for it!
Yeah, only because konami is greedy, when a french youtubeur try to use this A.R setup on a video, konami where about to sue them because is not a konami production and other thing like that, but konami do nothing for talking yugioh real, that the story if i remeber well
Really sad..... Thats the death of a childhood dream and I wont continue my channel subscription. I was such a happy person to see someone who's working on an old dream but now I'm really sad. There's a whole online yugioh VR game. And that is still after many years without any lawsuits there. Don't know why you're going away from this idea to an really unknown game where nobody has any emotional feeling to. Sorry, loved your project but this is only dumb to leave the Yu-Gi-Oh community behind your project. Nobody wants a really polished final AR game. But the community would also support you with money, but not for a crazy unknown game that's not a childhood dream 🤷♂️. Sad but that's the end of the project.
This is so cool! And while moving away from Yugioh feels a bit sad, I think the overall concept is more important than the specific game. Yugioh is the game best known for monsters appearing out of cards, but it doesn’t have to be the only one. You can work with this one card game and then outsource 3D modeling and card recognition to the community so they can apply this technology to any card game with creatures/monsters, even ones that don’t exist yet! I think Yugioh planted the dream in our heads, but you’ve demonstrated that this technology is bigger than any one game. Great work as always, CrownCorp. It’s been really cool watching your process.
As a lifelong YGO fan this is somehow even better. Taking the game basics we’ve come to love AND getting support from a seemingly fun and positive new game AND sticking it to the greedy company that somehow managed to not run the whole game into the ground is great. Keep up the good work.
Yes and to be honest i liked Duelist Arenas more. They seem more professional, more elegant. Imagine making those in real life, from a size of pool table to a gigantic size like in anime.
This looks sick - this is the base for a duel disk, there is very little doubt about it. Personally, I don't care what game you have to make it for - as much as I am yugioh fan, the functionality would be the same for just about any game so do whatever you gotta do to get the project done, and then it can eventually be adapted for whatever game you want it to, given the 3d model assets for said game and a little bit of code tweaking.
Hey bro, I would recommend that you design a Custom PCB whenever you have a more finalized product. It will help cut down on all of the wiring and make it more professional. Best of luck!
Connect it to a haptic feedback suit with a pull line & a foam pit behind each player & play in a large colloseum. Start with blue eyes format go from there. Use Microsoft hololens. Eventually the tech will be as light as regular glasses or we can redistribute the weight of the glasses on our face & nose of our bridge using a helmet.
Elestrals IMMEDIATLY wants to partner with you. Seems like they are actually interested in pursuing creative ideas instead of being as money hungry as Konami.
Just saw the comment that Elestrals left you. Hopefully you can partner with them, soft launch something wonderful that pushes other card games to step up their game to continue competing (and maybe even bring you on board). Please be sure to patent everything you're working on, even if "prototype." I'd hate to see a multi-million/billion dollar corporation steal all of your hard work and vision.
@@tylercoon1791Yeah, in the discord we were talking about it, and we came to the conclusion that making it not be Yu-Gi-Oh specific was the best decision to evade a C&D. I'm pretty sure that it was always his plan to make it so more card games could be added later on anyways.
@CrownCorp okay, nothing wrong with that. I'm sure this could be revolutionary for tcg's everywhere, can't wait to see what comes next. Good luck man!!!!
Im super excited for your project🎉 but i will say im bummed your moving away from the nreal glasses i bought them only for this reason 😅 now i gotta pay meta 😢
in ur personal opinion do u think the quest 3 cameras would be sharp enough to recognise different cards and with the right software be able to generate a 3d model that way
The fact that Konami was stupid enough to not support the project in any capacity is baffling to me. People have wanted this type of experience, without VR, for 20 years now and counting. They potentially had a golden goose in their hands and they gave it away.
Konami couldn't send you a cease and assist unless you plan on selling and making money off the yugioh part or the project.. You can sell your duel disk as is then have the people who bought your duel disk download a free yugioh file download making the yugioh part free shared public access. Honestly I'm going to have to say quitting yugioh holograms could be the end of this Channel and everyone's dream for real hologram dueling given up. Separate the duel disk from the card game the duel disk operates only to provide holograms what ever data downloaded to make it work is none of your business. So I recommend continue creating a yugioh holograms but make all yugioh or other card games publicly shared while selling the duel disk as just the operator
so wait does this mean no more yugioh or you just won't be showing yugioh in videos so you don't get in trouble but all this would still work with yugioh?

Sad that you are moving away from Yugioh however the concept itself is important and can be later implemented for any other game. Good job so far

The real life Seto Kaiba at it again
But not the actual Seto Kaiba. CrownCorp is legally distinct from the yugioh brand
@@Sebbir As is KaibaCrop. Because Pegasus created the game.

On the technical side, Yugioh having limited zones probably helps a ton

Explain Charizard! Explain him!!! lol. Joking aside that's some amazing work you've done.
TBF: Kiaba made the duel arena BEFORE the duel disk.
Very true, and even the first duel disk was a basic prototype
and in the manga they had the battle boxes instead, which was still in the form of playing on a regular sized table

Konami made a New VR for YGO. But this dude is more realistic

fuck man, this shit with newer smart classes/vr classes are soo good
What a shame that Konami isn't doing this themselves.
They actually are. We saw a drmo some time ago. The tech is being used in neuron.

Isn't that what the French RUclipsr already did? What's the difference here?
It’s indeed similar, so I guess the biggest difference is that he stopped after creating a prototype, and I don’t have the intention to do that ;)
what about the new meta quest and apple vision pro?
will you make new app for these product?
Just turn it inyo a card game platform any game may use they just need to put work to get ut runing. Similar to the sim LackeyCCG.
