I’m a fresh B777 driver, in fact I’m still on line training and coming from the 787 the only thing I miss is the cockpit design. Apart from that the B777 is an insanely good aircraft to fly. Absolutely love it!

From an aerodynamic perspective, the aft-angled gear bogies and the modest +3-5 degree nose high Vref approach attitude make the 77W one of the best aircraft to land. Lots of induced drag from nose high attitude, slats, and flaps, relatively slow approach speed, and a lot of excess thrust if needed add to the stability.
Next time you fly a 77W as a passenger, and if you're on the window seat, notice how the pitch attitude very slightly increases every time a notch of flaps of added, or especially when the gear is lowered. This higher nose attitude allows for a slower speed through that induced drag mentioned above, as well as providing a stable inertial platform through which slight pitch changes are made for smooth landings.
I'm quite certain that's how ALL landings work...

Amazing photography, to say the least. I've flown on 777s to various Pacific island paradises from LAX.
As an Airbus A350 fan, B777 was a masterpiece of aircraft enginnering, what a pure creativity was put by boeing in a plane, resulting in this gigantic twin-engine wide-body, that was one of the most advanced airliner in existence.
Woah, thats a lot of 777's... it is weird that Emirates is not there in this video after being B777 300ER's largest operator

Great video! Nothing like watching 777's landing. I was trying to figure out the locations you used for taking the videos. I got Weschester bridge, In-N-Out and near the Proud Bird restaurant. But where did you take the one at 13:42 and 19:19?

3:00 Many a time I've leaned up against that tree with my In-N-Out burger and watched the landings; 3:15 Many a time I've flown in n out of LAX on EVA Air 👍😁

I haven't been to La in yrs but in the 80s right by where the In Out burger is located there used to be a mail box service I used to get my mail at, I'd sit out back in a lawn chair & you could see the pilots inside preparing for landing maybe a hundred ft away. It was right there on Sepulveda by airport parking.
