How to Save / Download Audio Files and Voice Notes From Facebook Messenger

Here's how to download or save audio files and voice notes from Facebook Messenger.
You can download and listen to audio files that are sent to you by friends or family from Facebook Messenger. It's not possible to download the audio from the Messenger app.
There's a workaround that you can use to download voice messages and audio files from messenger. We recommend you use Google Chrome since it's the best way to get the audio. Follow the steps illustrated in the video to successfully download your Facebook Messenger audio.

For me, on my PC, the messenger interface through Chrome did not allow any option to enter the special interface.
Hitting F12 brought me into that, however. And then I just followed the rest of your instructions. And that worked perfectly.

It was difficult at first because I don't have a right-click or an F10 button on my Dell Chromebook, but using two fingers to tap got the pop-up menu with the "inspect" select. I also had to refresh the page and do all the steps about 8 times before the audio finally showed up on the Network list, but it worked just have patience. ✨
