Anything you can do to make your brain have to look through its memory banks and do the hard work of finding the information is going to help you memorize it.

Was the point I've liked about this video
Thumbs up and +1 subscriber
Thank you so much for the video; it validates what my problem is: recalling (I call it retrieving) what I read or hear.
Glad it was helpful!
I needed to hear this advice !!! I'm hoping the recall will work for me. Thank you !
That really is helpful, thank you. I shall persevere with this and work through the text paragraph by paragraph.

How did it go
@@therealharshil3437 it got delayed cuz the whole class sent the teacher an email to delay it, I've got a week now
This deserves a comment.
Thank you for your comment. :)
Do this method work in 2 hours ?
Does the "filling the gaps" exercise a good way to recalling? Thanks

Thank you Mark Shead. Good job.
Who else is hear before a test
Ha ha! What test are you taking?
Very interesting! Thank you!
How do you review information after its memorized?
I guess this is why Q-cards work so well for me.
What if I want to memorize something in some other language, like Hindi?
I would think the same approach would work for any language.
So Helpful!
Very helpful information, thanks
this is brilliant
THANKS!
can't see how this could work for a 700+ word text I need to present verbatim. A Letter for every word? Maybe I misunderstood.
You havet to start with the first sentence then work your way up.
@@nagys36snn I let you know if it works for me. Maybe I need specific instruction. Can you do a video about that? Longer script verbatim drill?
Did it work?
Holy crap thank you!!!!!
Im just trying to learn an english dialogue thats long 😹😹
