"We got the Moves" next? This is the song that made Babymetal ask for a collabortation with Electric Callboy in the first place. One of their best for sure.
The guy is kalle koschinsky, a german RUclipsr and friend of the band. He acts in Arrow of love and is the dance Choreograph. They make a 48 hours Challenge to write a song and the Video. The song is called Castrop x spandau
Glad you like these guys. Now that you have seen the original version you need to check out the several cover versions of "Hypa Hypa": - by Deathcore band We Butter The Bread With Butter, - by Pop singer Sasha, - by Country band The Boss Hoss, - by Medieval Folk Metal band Saltatio Mortis and i think two or three more that I cannot remember right now. All of them featuring Kevin and Nico in their videos.
They did have a following before this but it was more of an underground situation, really. This is, without a doubt, the song that pushed them into the mainstream and made them a head line act. Anyone claiming otherwise is naive or over zealous.
Well done. If you're interested: this music video has a "making of video" and the video "introducing our new singer", which is a really funny video by itself, which is also directly linked to "Hypa Hypa". "Hypa Hypa" was the first song with their new singer Nico (clean vocals - awesome and very talented singer, as you might have found out), "Love/Hate" was their second one. "Hypa Hypa" was made and filmed in the middle of the pandemic. Electric Callboy challenged a number of artists, to do their own versions of "Hypa Hypa" (mostly cooperations with EC themselves, one is just a remix). So there are 8 additional re-interpretations of this song out there. They're all worth checking out, if you liked "Hypa Hypa".

The others are from Gestört aber geil, Axel One and 257ers. The versions from Saltatio Mortis, Sasha and Axel One are my favourites. 😅

Nice👊🏽⚡️The timing of this video/song release was epic. At the height of the Covid crapsky. What a way to introduce Nico🫡
Great song by a great band. I thank Babymetal for discovering them.
