On a seemingly ordinary morning, destiny was tracing its iron lines with ruthless precision. It was 1967, and the Bee Gees were at the pinnacle of their rise, ready to conquer the world with their album "Bee Gees' 1st". But on that fateful day, what should have been just another journey turned into an unimaginable nightmare. A train, carrying dreams and lives, derailed violently in southeast London, sowing chaos and despair. The accident claimed 49 souls and left dozens injured in its wake, painting a grim picture of pain and loss. Among the survivors was Robin Gibb, who escaped death with only minor injuries. However, the true impact of this event could not be measured in visible scars, but in the deep marks it etched on his soul. It seemed that forces beyond human comprehension were at play, ensuring Robin's survival, for he was destined to become one of the greatest singers of all time.

I've been with these three amazing men since they first came on the scene in 1967 (I'll be 71 on July 31st) and, from day one, my true love was and still is Robin. Listening to your wonderful video (Yes, I'm a subscriber to your channel and look forward to each and every one) just brings back how we almost lost this precious soul that very sad day in November of 1967 in that awful Hither Green train disaster. At only 17 he was traumatized so much by this horror that he wrote a song called "Really and Sincerely" the very next day to try and deal with it all. How brave he was at such a very young age trying his best to save others. Thank God that He had other plans for Robin and spared his life that day. Thinking about all of this just makes me love him even more if that's even possible. RIP, sweet, sweet angel. ❤🙏❤️😥❤️🙏❤️
