    It's crazy how these small details such as color & saturation can either make or break the film, yet most of us overlook them. 👀

      I think we look at it, feel what the cinematographer are trying to make us feel with color and saturation but we fail to understand why we feel it because we lack the knowledge.
      That's the magic of cinema.

    Funny thing. The bordeaux suit Arthur wore when he was doing his stand up show is the same he wore when disguised as the Joker. Same goes for the yellow vest, which was the same he had in his clown costume. Most of his Joker outfit was actually a re arrangement of former clothes. And all related with the fact that he was poor. Excelent

    • @lukasrodda7308
      @lukasrodda7308 4 года назад +46

      TheJRMproductions - Dude I lived on that block most of my life (for about 22 years) and I’ve never seen so much “tourists” (mostly white people and some Asian people) hang out on those steps like it’s some sort of famous landmark like the Statue of Liberty.
      On Halloween day there must’ve been about 40 people just chilling at the top of the steps one of them was dressed up like Joker too I thought to myself “if these people only knew the amount of illegal activities (drug dealing, gang bangin, shoot outs,etc) that goes on in this neighborhood they wouldn’t come to this neighborhood even if they were paid too.

The colors, shading, and lighting kept us watching with the feel and tone of the film. That's why Joker is unforgettable, especially with the feel of the scenes.

      Samantha nah u made it sound better than how I see it as. Regardless as much as I do enjoy the scenes and the story there is no denying the fact of a growing sense of boringness I found in scenes with those colors. It’s supposed to be appealing but when it’s presented pretty much as the only colors shown rather then going creative with the different messages trying to be conveyed in each location, it starts to become repetitive and those were the only yawn or slowly shutting eyes moments I experienced in an otherwise original comic book film looking at the realistic possibilities of such fantasies being possible
