#idea Set your character skin to be a perfect clone of players, and stalk/kill them (maybe even get ur mate with the voice recorder on board, so he can parrot them). Repeat this for multiple players, even police.

you don't need monsters in natural disasters like this. people are already killing each other like the movie so it's enough to cause mass hysteria and how people reacts to natural causes that can turn people against each other due to greed or survival instincts which depicted perfectly when even the national guards themselves and the FBIs can't contain much further and the FBI starts killing cops and innocent people mainly because of protocol or pressure.

The monster I think he would be was the unseen tentacle creature
This makes me realize that The Mist wasn't about those interdimensional creatures or the mist. It was another story of people falling victim to their government. Instead of revealing what had happened, the military and its government will only cover it up. It's another case of whoops but not caring about anyone's life. At least that's my idea of the movie.

If you don’t know the plot it is basically where the water is contaminated or something along that line and anyone who drinks it becomes obsessively violent and will attack anyone. Also the government turns on people and starts killing them. ( there was one scene in particular where they torched a guy with a flamethrower). I would love to see your spinoff of this movie!!! That all said.. The way you guys kinda did it here.. Kind of reminds me more of something else that is going to expose me as a nerd.. Used to play and run D&D games.. and I made a sentient fog that would bring anything that died inside it back to life as undead beings.. The people that where playing said game never got to figuring it all out sadly.
