This movie is my guilty pleasure. For some reason I like the plot of cliche forbidden love and like the chemistry between the characters but I can't get over the literal illegal line of it. Personally i think student-teacher relationships are ok as long as they are both adults (which she obviously isn't). I wish it was a college based movie or he was a student-teacher or sum so I could fully enjoy the movie, sigh😳

There were few student- teacher relationships in our departments but they were let go after being found out. Not gonna lie. The teacher to me, acts like a student her age or close to her age. It would have been better if he was her senior in school because teacher and student relationships especially when the student is a minor because this is not suppose to happen in real life. Not gonna lie. The teacher to me, acts like a student her age or close to her age. It would have been better if he was her senior in school because teacher and student relationships especially when the student is a minor because this is not suppose to happen in real life. I said in real life because I don't judge someone who likes to imagine liking someone way older than them. Just, keep it in your minds. Don't actually do it. I know teenagers does not like hearing they are not old enough to decide on a lot of situations like this and/or just basically wants to rush to became adults but it's true. I've been their. Yes, it makes you happy and inspired but don't get into it if it has bad consequences. Their's a law on why adults can't date minors for a reason. You are not fully prepared yet physically, mentally and/or emotionally. Add financially if the adult doesn't support your kid or have low income if you manage to create a baby.

I watched this movie and as much as the student-teacher relationship should not be normalized, it was such a good movie. The girl found peace and comfort by being with the teacher and no, he did not abuse her innocence. He refused to be with her at first but she still continued to like him, until he just fell for her as well.

Anyone else find it so wrong that this is a teacher and a student? The teacher obviously shows interest, while he’s an adult and she is still a minor.
