The Border from South korea and North was once the most dangerous border in the whole world .
In today's time , things has changed dramatically. A well established tourist spot , i had the chance to travel there and learn about the still ongoing war about the 2 countries .
My goal was to skate inside north korea in my mission to skate every countries on the planet . i didn't know if it would have been possible . It's like they say , you never know before your try .
I will like to thanks @DaveKrug to have come with my with in this special skateboard mission .
Let me know what you guys think about this this video , how you feel and where should i go next

They actually have a skatepark in Pyongyang, NK. When the borders open we will be visiting and filming it / skating. Rad video mate!
I tried to get there last month but it was close . I wish you luck i would have like to be the first
Someone already skated it dude it's on youtube. You have to go on an organised tour to go to NK@@Theskatenomad
I am sk8boarder my self, and I'm Korean also, it was very disrespectful, its like sk8ting on top of national monument for all people who lost their life,
I do understand your point . I’m sorry if I offended people there and yourself . In any way i skated those spot to disrespect the korean people . All i have is love for humanity. Would not skate spot like that again
@@Theskatenomad its not u bro, it was the other person who was sk8ting with u, he was the one who got called out
I have respect for all the sk8boarders around the world, we only live once to do what we love to do
@@Theskatenomad if u have chance to sk8 in North Korea or go over North Korea they will locked u up for life,

@@Theskatenomad 💪 cheers brotha!
I wish your videos would be longer. I checked many of your videos and what I miss is, How did you get there? Where did you stay? Accomodation? How much money did you spend? How much did the food cost? It would be more interesting to have more Insights Skatenomad.
Thanks for the review my friend ! I will
Make my video longer now 👌🙏 i didn’t know people were interested in that . Thanks for letting me know
@@Theskatenomad Thank you for considering my comment skatenomad! You are absolutely a cool guy!
@@Theskatenomad I like this idea too, but I also like that the skate parts are so focused on skate. Something to consider could be making the skateparts just like they are now and making the accommodation and travel videos as separate videos. This could also help them go more viral and being shared more among non skaters. And just short skate clips in them maybe, if even that.
Good times, I'm glad I decided to get up early and come with you. Hope you are enjoying life wherever you are. I'm still hanging in Seoul for another week or two and as always I should get out and skate more :D
Thanks dave to have come with me ! That made the trip more special 🙏👌 go skate your are in paradise
Nice to see you guys

Dude that would be dope
You’re like the Anthony Bourdain of skateboarding
That’s the best compliment i have ever receive . Thank you 🙏
are you going back to cebu?
Maybe one day :)
You missed the spot at cebu convention centee
@@cebuhandboarding1001 oh really ? Is it new ?
Some people are calling that women a Karen. No, no, a Karen is someone like her but with nonsense reasoning. That woman had very sensible reason to request him to stop playing on the memorial structure. The first skate spot, which seemed much better for skating, may have been fine. But the second one had the list of engraved names. They should have just skated to those names, paid their respects, and skated back to that other place.
You are right my friend . It was a misjudgment on my part . I just wanted to make a good video for the viewer’s
@@Theskatenomad Wow, I respect you responding like that. Many people would defend themselves or just ignore the matter completely. But you seem to be someone who can reflect and consider things without being pulled by the ego. Keep rolling and spreading your positive energy.
Yes, skateboarding IS AT TIMES just like walking. But, what is parkour and free-running compared to walking? You were not just simply skateboarding there. You were playing. Maybe, it could possibly be acceptable if you were skating on that memorial for a fundraiser or something that supports something related to it. That memorial structure was built to honor and pay respect to those people. We can easily forgive little kids for playing on it. But adults should know better.
Yes your right
That was great experience inside the craziest and weirdest country in the word
Yes ! I didn’t go inside but i was almost there
What’s the first lofi song that comes on?
North korea music : are we living those day
Look like Ryan Sheckler skate spot
I think you showed respect when skateboarding at the monuments. You were skating flat. No grinds or destruction of those marble ledges and tiles.
Yes i tried my best
thanks!
its like going to a local sk8spot but u disrespecting locals,
Sorry :(
nah dude, some places arent' cool to skate. You're having fun doing something and thats not the move at a memorial or something sacred.
If you can walk on it what’s the difference?
Why skating is more disrespectful than walking explain
because you're there trying to have fun. People may be morning the loss of family and you're trying a nollie shuv, that's lame. Not everything is for skating just like I wouldn't be stoked if people started using wheels as buttplugs. Some things should e left alone.@@Theskatenomad
@@johnnyc.3261 it’s okay you’re entitled to your opinion. I don’t want people like you on my channel can you please blocked me. Thank you
Yeah, I can unsubscribe. I want to now. You asked the question, I answered you honestly and now you don't want people like me on your channel. I've been skating a lot longer than you but you must know more about everything. I'm going to skate your moms funeral service. Doing weak ass nollie shuvs(you're best trick) You're extremely weak.@@Theskatenomad
insane
👌🙏
you will go to the Balkans in Kosovo to skate
Yes i want to go back to the balkan for sure
Try the China side
Next time i will skate inside north korea 👌
Me and a friend skated Shanghai a bit. They have some amazing street spots and pretty cool skateparks, parties in skateparks with free drinks and food, and some really good street skaters there.
Okay I got a couple of questions...I dig your videos, but I got to wonder, how the hell are you getting to all these countries ? who the hell is paying for all this ? then, that accent of yours, where are you from ? are you Italian ? I just can't pinpoint your accent ...as far as skating the war memorial or a sacred spot I think the Asians have a more emotional tie to certain areas than here in America people just get angry at you for destroying public property I think in Asia it's a little bit more emotionally tied to them and personal
🤘😘🌬🌬➡️🇹🇭
Ahah I’m paying for my trip with the money i earn with youtube. I’m french canadian and yes that was a mistake to skate that
@@Theskatenomad well that's okay for skating it I mean you know we do what we did with me and all my buddies we are the reason people can't skate anywhere because in the early days of Street skating we destroyed everything and we made everybody mad at skateboarders
Omg Karen tried to shame him lol😂
Ahah yes , hopefully it was not me
Hi
Hello !!
Not like y'all waxed and grinded the ledges or anything. I see what people mean though, IDK intentions have to match your actions
Yea well that video in my head was a good idea. Now i regret 😂
How about coming to Russia I think it’s a lot safer than North Korea
I’m down to go anywhere 👌
glad to see you soon bro
@@skateboardingafter506 same 🙏👌
Well it's good to know that we have North Korean Karen's or Kim's whatever they call them there
Ahah it’s okay , it’s true it was not the most respectful thing to do
Man you didn't just skated on a war memorial. I mean don't get me wrong I love you and your videos but watching you skate that war memorial just feels so wrong on many levels for me. Also I disagree with Dave. You can't compare walking and skating in a sacred spot. It's like you're running around and yelling around the names of people who died fighting in the war.
In my defense when i skated it , i didn’t know . But yes i learn a lot about this , and i should have been more respectful.

I agree with you man
This country is different
Got my respect for you bro, but in 1 point yes you have just skated a sacred place actually whole DMZ is sacred. Keep on skating bro! Watching you here from PH islands 🏝🏖
@@Theskatenomad no worries bro we all make mistakes. Keep skating 🤙🏼
