This truck is awesome! Unsuspecting. Bought a 2023 carbonized gray metallic one with black wheels the end of 2023. Added some weight to the back (horse mat in the bed, rear wheel well toolboxes, and a bed cover) to smooth out the ride and it's perfect. Didn't like the lightning bolt logo so got one without that on the seats and peeled off the one at the end of the bed. Instead, put on an old school Lightning logo, blue and white. If anyone thinks it's an electric Lighting, they just need to roll down their windows and listen. It will make you smile. And the price....I would have thought more. They did a great job getting the features you need and performance that makes you look forward to driving it. I bought from out of state and got it shipped to me...easy-peasy...would recommend the truck and the dealership!
I did this with the xlt trim, the chrome bumper looks great. Iconic silver with black wheels. Beltech lowering kit. Don’t waste your money on the engine enhancements, the 5.0 v8 has plenty of snort for this smaller truck, don’t need to be in sport, still plenty of get go in normal. If you want to tow, the bell tech will require airbags. Also, tilt/ adjust your headlights down, people think your brights are on due to leveling out the truck, dealership can do it.

@@longmcarthurford my former 2012 Raptor with a 133” wheelbase was such a tight fit in my garage, that part of the front facia was slightly under the workbench and the grill was 1 inch from being crunched. My wife would roll her eyes when I would put it in the garage and say, “how do you do that” So, a 122” wheelbase is better for me and doable…🤷🏻♂.. Maybe a 2-door, 4WD XLT; LMP705 would be more inline with what I’m looking for or something like a 122” wheelbase Sidewinder. But, I’d need to get the sale of the other two vehicles to get the -> ‘One’🤔 If that happens….like Arnold said, “I’ll Be Back” Thanks for the video & your reply👍

Nice job guys! Truck looks amazing. Not crazy about the plastic black front grille but the same color bumpers are a nice touch. In surprised you didn’t go with Whipple SC’s but the Roush is a nice unit. Love the White with satin wheels. Steeda does a Thunder F150 with 825hp conversion kit that looks scary AF. I had a 2004 shadow gray SVT lightning and God do I miss that truck. Nice job on these trucks!
I love the idea of this truck. Short, light(ish), 4WD, supercharged, fast as hell, but has the functionality of a bed for hauling, and can still tow. I just wish you could recline in a single cab. I HATE a 90° (or close to it) seating position.

Have you driven the newer single cabs? There's room to recline. I'm 6'5" and can lean my seat back where I like it. It's not as small as the old 03 and back single cabs

@@DarknessZ24 You would need to ask our Aftermarket Department. We like to go with Roush because of their warranty and ease of getting it fixed if there is a problem. Whipple is as easy.
@@adrianbrown2957 whipple has a better inverted intercooler design and can be easily turned up. Roush is really only good for advertised numbers before running into heatsoak issues.
My first thought when the video started was that truck needs a lowering kit badly. Host talks about they're installed a kit yet truck still looks like a 4x4. Needs the hokey body kit like the older 2000s Lightning.

Avoid ALL V8 F150’s from 2021 to now. Major TSB on oil leaks from these weak cast blocks requiring block replacement and lots of parts swaps. And the cylinder deactivation which leaves you with 4 weak cylinders (GM did this for. 70 yrs and still fails), makes for extreme unreliability. AVOID at all costs. Not worth 44k, especially with the crappy Roush garbage supercharger that’s overrated and underperforms.

The look is just dull. A lightning especially Gen II looked different this looks like a base F150 with painted bumpers. Sorry has zero curb appeal especially for that price instead I see a bolt on truck overpriced with China copied attempt at a lightning. Calling it a lightning bolt is just sad.

There build is a base XL with no adds but a supercharger.
The EV lightning was such a fail these guys had to throw a gas one together to try making money. They are all junk and this pile isn't a lightning.
We have being selling this package since 2019 as a F-150 Lightning Tribute truck. The Lightning EV wasn't released until 2021.
The rear axles will snap on these too. Don’t do burnouts in 2nd mode. Buy a pre-2021 model for a better engine.
