Fear & Hunger 1.4 final boss of ending A + credits

I couldn't a video of the final boss from ending A with the new visuals and attacks from recent updates, and since Termina is right around the corner I thought I'd replay this game and make this video. Enjoy :)

Her fourth form is the one that terrifies me the most, it is just haunting. It makes you wonder what kind of pain the little girl is feeling throughout this transformation, both emotionally and most of all, physically.

I feel the girl tops being an individual ego past that point I think, I imagine the pain must be something like childbirth where it transitions past pain into mind-bending sensation. From the looks of it, the girl gets a new-god form, in which her ascendent god form is "born" from. By born I mean completely torn from, of course.

That ending is terrifying. It's a spit in the player's face. You who turned down all exchange offers, who took care of her, who believed you were doing the right thing. You were made a sucker.

I actually don't think it's as grim as it seems on the surface. Her transformation is terrible beyond measure, certainly, but even as she becomes something inhuman, a part of her still remains. If you gave her the dagger and the doll earlier in the game, she will actually skip a turn with each phase as she remembers the kindness you showed her. She acknowledges your struggle, your suffering, instead of tossing you aside without a thought at the end like the other gods would, and after all the pain you went through, she allows you to pass away peacefully at the bottom.
And most tellingly of all, the Cruel Age is actually a period of enlightenment for mankind. F&H 2: Termina outright says that the Cruel Age gave humanity the impetus to push back against the world's cruelty and unfairness through the advancement of society and culture. Through her, humanity acknowledges misery instead of always running from it, and it gives people strength they never knew they had. Your trek with her all the way down through the dungeon is a perfect example of that. The God of Fear and Hunger is a benevolent deity that represents hope. Hope is born out of suffering, and with it comes the will to survive and create something new out of the seemingly infinite darkness that envelops reality. If you ask me, she has done a hell of a lot more for mankind than any other god that came before.

its not actually a spit in the face. You molded her into a god to rival even the great old ones. She gave you a peaceful end and went on to lead mankind to new heights unseen in the other endings, and while others may not remember you, she keeps you in mind fondly.

pretty sure moonless did this. it explains why the girl and moonless are together all the time in dungeon nights, and it would make all the endings canon in some way.

obviously, but in almost all the endings something is changed, such as in ending b, c and c-II.@@cernunnos8917. who's to say there wasn't something changed to moonless' fate.
