This guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Eagles did not almost lose to the rams because of lack of passing. It was passing at the wrong time. Add these point to the final score. Jake missed 2 extra points. Jake missed a 55 yd FF. Eagles got sacked out of FG position 2 times. Got sacked for a safety. Aj drops a td pass. Get a false start on the 1 yard line kicked FG. Eagles left about 20 points off the board. The game should have been a blowout.
McMullen, what a genius, other than the chiefs and the eagle, he said that these are the only 2 consistent franchises in this century. This guy covers the NFL and did not even mention the Patriots consistency of 6SB wins, 9 SB appearances=afc conf champs). And the Patriots have been very consistent the last 2 years also with 2 straight 4-13 seasons. Sometimes when you're a little to close you can't see the for the trees.Last time I listen to him.
i thought the same thing. obviously patriots and chiefs have been far more successful than the eagles since 2000, but the Eagles are probably in 3rd place
The same guy that said the eagles almost lost because of a lackluster passing game, and conveniently not mentioning the snow or the uncharacteristic drops from the two best receivers.
He’s turning into Silz with his constant push for everyone to say it’s Jalen’s fault the offense is bad. He’s so condescending when he speaks, and his opinions are fact and fan’s opinions are just that.
Don’t mention how Daniels was hurt in the first meeting to somehow justify the Eagles win but say nothing about Hurts going out early in the second game in the Eagles loss.
This channel spends more time talking about how good the other team is, how great the other qb is, how many mistakes the Eagles and Hurts do during a game. But when asked who do they think is going to win…the answer is “Oh the Eagles”. How bout you spend a little more time talking the team up instead of tearing them down. At this point of the season how is the talk more negative about the Eagles then the other team? It’s like you’re waiting for the other shoe to drop so you can say…”see I told you”
Jalen is a mid pocket passer and always will be. But hes a proven winner by any means necessary. Without his scrambling mobility tho, we may be in some deep shit.
@daquanmcdonald7104 agreed! He was so efficient in 2022 especially in the rpo passing. Hit slants so well. And threw the ball away perfectly rather than taking a sack unnecessarily. If he ever gains that back though this offense would be so scary. Anticipation throws are not his game unfortunately but if he had that in his arsenal man would this offense be a juggernaut.
Disagree with the "always will be." He's only 26 years old in his first year in a new scheme. Given all his intangibles and work ethic, there's no reason to believe he's not going to continually improve and get more comfortable with Kellen Moore's offense. Wouldn't be surprised if he makes a similar leap like he did in his second year in steichen's offense. He's only 2 years older than Jayden Daniels.
@ppunch7050 i hope he excels and improves. We've heard this story many times with the new coordinator new scheme thing. 31st ranked pass attack with tbis roster is on him. It is what it is. He's the same passer he always has been since college.
Not feeling the "always will be" what the Eagles need to do is get an OC and find the offense they want and sign him to multiple years. This new offense scheme almost every year is just crazy.
Rams game couldve been a disaster for sure. Also, we could've had 45 points if AJ catches the ball, Lane & Becton dont commit bone headed penalties, & Elliot hits his PATs.
That's eagles problem though as a fan I'm tired of it. It's nerve wrecking. Tbh. As a coach it would piss me off. And I would definitely say something to them asap right after. Sideline n all
11:55 the Bradberry & Slay contracts will likely be off the books next season. I don't think anyone would be surprised if they trade Huff for a 7th round pick & a bag of Doritos to free up a few more dollars there & Milton Williams is likely hitting free agency. Gotta believe Howie learned from the TJ Edwards situation on top of Nakobe Dean projected to miss half of next season. If Howie wants to keep Baun he'll find a way.
24:23 Nick Siranni is obsessed with "competitive advantage". He hasn't shown it week to week because they haven't had to. The opponents have way less film to study all the passing wrinkles in our playbook. I don't want Jalen Hurts to have to throw 35+ times a game, but I won't be surprised to see AJ Brown or Smitty getting busy for some big chunk plays down field today
I know they can come into a game with a passing gameplan, like the Steelers game. What worries me is that I haven't seen this offensive staff adjusting drastically. If someone manages to shutdown Saquon mid game, can they go from "full rushing offense" to "great passing offense"? Also, last week the Eagles were THIS close to proving the point everybody has been making about a running oriented team. You can have home runs, rush for 200 yards, win the turnover battle and still lose the game. My point is that, IF Stafford was able to make that pass and eliminate us, we would never have gotten a chance to prove we can win with the passing game. Imagine the tragedy that loss would've been. It's as if even in the face of defeat the thought of "activating" the passing game never crossed their minds and they would've lost without doing it. It would immediately kill the "they can do it when and if they want to" narrative.
It’s was the eagles shooting themselves in the foot. Drop pass from AJ brown on 1 yard line would have made it 20-10 at half. Then Dallas Goedert screen pass gets called back he got down to the 3 yard line. Then false start on tush push. They left 21 points on the field conservatively. Not even counting missed extra points and taking sacks getting out of field goal range. Eagles should have scored 40+……with all those self inflicted mistakes still 2 missed extra points away from 30points.
can we just stop making these commanders sound better than they are? It is getting very very nauseating to be quite honest. They beat a nine or 10 win NFC south division champ Tampa Bay Buccaneers team, and then went and beat Detroit, who we all knew had a real suspect defense, meanwhile we played two of the best defensive lines in the NFC playoffs to get where we are and to be quite honest I think our two wins are more impressive than theirs. They went down to a warm Tampa. and played Detroit, who plays in a dome. While the Eagles played in 20° temperatures both games one with blinding snow if you ask me who I think is more battle tested for this game here tomorrow you gotta say it’s us go birds stop all this nervous talk we know how to beat these guys and if Jalen was in that game The whole way we don’t lose and we’re talking about being a team three times in one year and how that’s a hard thing to do and blah blah blah
Lived through the rough times in my early years. It was difficult to be an Eagles phan then. I always thought the only Eagle phan were from Philly. Today I moved to upstate NY for work n I meet Eagle phans all the time without any connection to Philly. It’s very strange to me. Never thought I would see it.
In all seriousness I think it just starts with being honest and by that I am meaning Jalen Hurts.. let me elaborate!👌💯 okay I believe that Jalen Hurts isn’t being honest with his coaches and or doctors and instead whenever they ask him what’s going on he’s more inclined to be like “It’s okay & I’m okay” rather than being honest and telling them “Hey I am a little immobile and having a hard time rotating or putting pressure on knee” so they call the same game plan they would call as if he WAS healthy because Jalen is telling them that he IS GOOD but in actuality he KNOWS he NOT and there’s something more going on.. someone to have to save a player from himself! I think if it were up to Jalen he would still try and go suit up even with a torn MCL & Meniscus but that’s just Jalen! 👌😅😭 of course I’m being sarcastic/over dramatic! On another note I do believe that the coaches are seeing things that Jalen isn’t seeing and vice versa! 👌💯
Can u beat the bills or cheifs they did last year and had a bad season, they beat burrow, lamar Jackson this year? At this point I think media trolling whenever they ask if eagles can beat one of those teams

AGREED 👍
Missed a 55 yard FG when?
@ maybe that was the extra point. My fault
Jake been a liability, but he's managed to remain perfect as far as FGs in the playoffs, hopefully it'll continue
That's eagles problem right there. I don't think they fix it this week either. These traits keep showing up

No way eagles lose, going to be Bills vs Eagles SB- going to win good money this Sunday, I’ll come back to gloat 😂
Homer

His best year passing was when they lost to kc in a superbowl. I'm still mad about that goofy ahh fumble he did. He does some questionable things ngl

Jalen isn't some big pocket passer, he doesn't have to be but he is a efficient passer. He can throw the ball but doesn't need to be a focus of his.
My first game in attendance was Franklin Field so I know about our sorry history.
Are you guys eagles fans
That part
? Smart fans? Or rah rah clueless fans? Hmmm?
not REAL Phans ...
Analytical analysis these guys are the biggest clickbait’s around!!!
Stop blaming Buddy . If the Eagles had a better owner they would have had more success.

There is always an excuse for hurts.
Daniels has no choice but to do more their running backs are trash
