My brother and I were in the audience for the taping of the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday shows. Michael did great and won twice ...for the same contestant...in the Winners Circle. One game there was a three way tie. Exciting for the audience to see, not so exciting for Dick Clark and the crew.

No....we could not meet Michael as he was up on stage. Outside of the game, the celebrities are off stage. But during the game, in my experience being in the audience, if the game is paused during taping, the audience is allowed to ask Dick Clark questions. As for me, I was sitting in the back row, alongside the judges booth. When the judge came by, I spoke to her.

Dan Barker since this was the first season i think it was allowed. In later seasons it was buzzed because he would be using a prepositional phrase, which is not allowed in the Winner’s Circle
