If you want to see his shirt buttons having a crisis, you want his "Play with Fire" dance. Channie's the only one who's gone full shirtless so far, but Hyunjin got pretty close to the edge in that video. Studio Choom is a channel for super-high-quality filming of dances, basically. Anyway, dancers are selected and invited to be AOTM (generally the main dancer of a group, but technically SKZ has no main dancer because they have no official positions; however, Hyunjin is one of the three members of the Danceracha subunit, which is the members whose first focus is dance, so he and the other two are considered the equivalent); we've discerned that the group has to have had a relatively recent comeback release (which SKZ did in August), and it's generally a well-known, talked-about member of the group (Hyunjin is famous far outside SKZ and is the most searched idol in all of JYPE, so he fulfills that). Beyond that, Studio Choom doesn't really share their criteria, so what we know, we've basically figured out ourselves based on all the AOTMs so far. Now we're crossing our fingers for Lee Know or Felix to get called up.
I'm so glad you reacted to both of these videos! Hyunjin is my ult bias in all of k-pop because he's a multi-talented king with a wholesome personality. He puts in the most work and takes everything the extra mile. He is also fucking gorgeous ofc, but he often talks about how he likes to get compliments on his achievements rather than the way he was born. (he still loves the compliments though) but in general, I'm just so glad you watched these to get a more in-depth view of his skills and personality

And you don't talk too much -- and when you do, the tone is pleasant and words nice and supportive. This was a great find. Changbin helped him a lot with his rap during the survival show after JYP was rather mean about his pronunciation they have always had a strong bond i think anyway :) he said they were promoting domino at the same time the dancing for that song is intense as well

To be artist of the month I legit just think a kpop idol submits a request or the company choose them or something and boom they get a month that's available, there is no voting or nothing so I'm not actually too sure how its chosen but so far all of the artist of the months have been the idols style or the idol saying they are trying something new.
I believe Studio Choom makes the request for the Artist bc Hyunjin said when he heard he was chosen for AOTM. I also believe that they generally have had a recent comeback as part of the criteria.
