I just saw her perform last night at Wolf Trap and it was one of the best shows I have ever attended! She wowed us from the first song and had us hooked the entire time. A fantastic performer that you must see live to completely appreciate her talent.

Ahh, but I never said she was chasing a comeback...She merely is who she is. Ross will lose the weight. Every older diva faces vocal challenges. Did you see/hear Babs on BPS last week. Not quite the same. Aretha? Patti? More talking than singing. Her voice and stamina clearly waning. Dionne? NEXT! Chaka. High notes off pitch. Natalie, softer jazz suits her compromised head tones. Ross does not sound bad, just older, not as strong, agreed past her prime. Gladys is the only one of those ladies that essentially sounds remarkably like herself at peak but she too deals with fluctuating weight, and her stage energy is diminished too. Ross is not an anomaly. Have a good holiday.

Diana Ross rocked the house in 2013!!! Diana Ross the Kennedy Center Honoree and Legend of Music was simply great at the Hollywood Bowl. She is one Amazing Lady who not only excelled at Music, but was also a great parent. The Boss is truly a treasure, great concert.
Diana is doing this because she Loves Entertaining her fans! Why is Aretha, Dionne, Barbra Streisand, all Older than Diana btw, even Lorretta Lynn and Tony Bennett in their 80s are still performing. Because they Want to. Those that are not interested in seeing these Legends still perform their hits. KEEP YOUR ASS HOME! NO one will Miss you. Least of all the Fans. so your wasting your breath saying why is Diane still doing this.
I just saw her perform last night at Wolf Trap and it was one of the best shows I have ever attended! She wowed us from the first song and had us hooked the entire time. A fantastic performer that you must see live to completely appreciate her talent.
