I have never seen a backyard so Overgrown in the City! We stopped by this Elderly Ladies house to mow her yard last week and I couldn’t get my mower in her back yard so I went and bought a push mower. I couldn’t figure out why no one wanted to mow it until I opened the gate and noticed how tall the grass was. It was several feet tall in some locations and you couldn’t even see the fence. We came across some shocking discoveries, we located a sidewalk that had been buried under dirt for several years then we found a couple skeletons in the yard, question is what were they from? overgrown lawn

well done Eric, thank you. Looks like at one point, this lady and her hubby were "yard people". Lots of pretty plants, well placed and such. That deck/patio, sidewalk...all attest to the early part of her life. What a blessing to help her yard look more like "hers". thank you.

I keep looking for your wings on your back...your an Angel! I know what it's like not having anyone around to help. I, too live alone. I have arthritis of the spine and everyday chores are a challenge at times. Then I push thru and pay the price of pain that nite into the next day. My family have passed on and no siblings. So there's just me to depend on to get the day to day things done. Thank you and big hugs to you to have the compassion to help her out....youve certainly earned your wings!!!!!

That view of the property from the back fence towards the house illustrates perfectly why she obviously loved her garden. You did an awesome job for her and hopefully you will get to return later in the season for touchups and a trim. Great work!!!

I'm from Wilson, NC and I've seen where Organizations like Boy Scouts, and Church youth would come help in our city. Thank You for your Kindness and Compassion. The yards look amazing. 💜
@Beth Chapman : Here in West Central Illinois back during the late 70’s and early to Mid 80’s The Boy Scouts and some church members would do the same thing. But in the late 90’s up until the present they don’t do it anymore and it’s due to 2 reasons. 1. The Corrupt City Municipalities said - The City can’t have people doing it. And that THEY would take care of it. Problem is “NOTHING is done”. Secondly, these organizations made the City look bad and their egos kicked in because these organizations made them look a fool. That’s why around here Absolutely Nothing is done. Oh they’ll do it once someone goes to the Local Newschannel to ask them to do a story on why the City refuses to clean up the city.

Been in that position before but have been very cautious when helping people, especially when there Family are not willing to help, I’ve seen a ladies son on PlayStation or being on the computer all day long but wouldn’t mow the lawn for the mother where he was living there himself.
I did get paid for it, but was disheartened seeing him do that to his mother.
It’s hard to judge when you don’t have the full storyline.

Morning Erik. You can certainly tell that this nice lady enjoyed her garden. It's unfortunate that she has suffered health issues and has not been able to care for it. With your help she may now be able to get out into the fresh air and start to recover. Sometimes Mother Nature has the best medicine. Watching bunnies, squirrels, birds and butterflies could definitely lift her spirits. God bless.

"clean up: part 2" this is the culmination of the full yard clean up! It looks phenomenal!!👍⭐. God will put the word out about your work and all the "lawn service" companies that "blew her off", will get exposed for the "dirt-bags" that they are and their service company will collapse due to loss of business clients. They looked down their noses at her and her yard. Now they shall "reap what they sewed" with no one to blame but themselves for when their "lawn service" company goes under. Great job to you chief for looking out for the "little person" who wasn't able to help themselves. God will bless you beyond measure for it!😇👍⭐ Doug
