I remember being a kid back in the early 70s and all the family would sit down to watch Eric and Ernie, I always remember my dad being in stitches he loved their show it was always very clean fun, not like now all the good people are gone including my dear dad , god rest Eric Ernie and my dad ❤️

It's a pity they couldn't do this when Eric was alive. RIP Eric and Ern! True comedy legends!

That never failed to amaze me that they didnt do both of them together or at least when Eric was alive. Ernie was devastated when he died.

Not embarrassed to say that I cried at the end of this. What a talent and partner to Eric Morecambe.

That was such fun to watch. Many fond memories of laughter filling the home as the whole family watched Eric and Ernie. In my humble opinion the greatest Comedy duo. Thank you Eric. Thank you Ernie. You brought us Sunshine and Laughter. :)

I cant believe there are no comments for Ernie. Eric and Ernie got bigger audiences than EastEnders/Corry and all the other shows put together. On Christmas day... nearly the whole population in Britain watched their show. Phenomenal star and as Morecambe and Wise, they remain the biggest TV stars of all time.

A great nostalgic trip to my childhood. Such a pity that Eric Morecombe was featured so much in film clips but not so much as part of Ernies history.

I can not believe that Robin Day got to walk on and have a speaking part, when Eddie Braben, the genius and third member of M&W who wrote all the BBC shows was reduced to sitting in the audience. Without Braben, M&W were nothing.

I find this show to be rather sad. the guests keep talkig about "the great couple", but one of them is gone. and the other one has to struggle along... well, that's life indeed.
