You said you would “turn the water off and then the power” at the end of the video…. That would burn up the motor. It should never be powered on without the water running.
it actually has an auto stop switch when water stops running to it
These are garbage!!! I bought one, followed all the instructions and then about 3 minutes into cleaning out an 1" 1/2 line the jetter started cycling and motor started making a weird noise and I could see from the motor vent on the side of it, the motor was glowing and I immediately shut it off and smoke came out
We haven't run into that problem with ours. Wondering if you just got a bad one. I suggest contacting the vendor or manufacturer.

Same happened to mine. It's been sent back 3 times now and it keeps coming back the same way I sent it in. Less than a minute after turning on it starts to bog down then glows blue flames from the venting.
