  • Hello all
I had the opportunity to compare these three versions, before I post James Universal Studios back to him in Belfast.
All great shows, just different prices!
    Approx 2023 costs:
    £550-600 for the 3.1s
£200 for the basic yellow boxed Led Universal Studios, plus around £80 in parts to upgrade .
£50 for the basic AliExpress shoes, plus around £80 in parts to upgrade.
    Display case is £25.
    Thanks all,

      Great stuff indeed, excellent news.
The 3s are epic, just (with all lipos) try to use and charge them regularly, just to prolong the lipos life :). Good stuff

I can’t find any proof of the universal 2022s existing on the internet. Except one dodgy guy on eBay. Can you find them anywhere or ask James where he got them. 😊

Hi cool vids! Do you know the best place to find decals for the shoe in the UK (swoosh, Nike mag etc)? I’ve seen some on Etsy but it works out at like £50 including shipping :/ I’ve thought about making my own but not sure of swoosh measurements etc as I know they differ, Anyway, keep up the good work!

      Hello
So the only options to buy are those ones, which are very overpriced in my opinion.
      Or make your own ones.
Initially I made mine by copying them from a basket ball shoe I found in a shop. But now I have 3.1s, I just copy from them when I make Swooshes for the AliExpress shoes.
For the rear letters, I used my shoes as a template and cut the letters from 2mm sticky foam (on a video )- but of course, you don’t have a template.
You’ll have to think outside the box in order to achieve what you want to do.
The swoosh is very doable by just drawing designs onto paper for tests, then onto thin white leatherette or 2mm Eva foam.

@@jamesmatthews1095 perfect, if you get really stuck, I can cut you a pair of Swooshes using a template from my 3.1s.
Say £5 plus whatever a stamp costs.
So if you get stuck, let me know and I can cut a pair in my white leatherette.

      Yeah no sorry.
In the Uk they are not available (unless second hand on eBay ).
You used to be able to buy that from
      Universal Studios the theme park.
Basically you just need to monitor eBay /Market Place for a used pair

Hey there, so his were Universal Studio models, a later version.
As far as I know, the only new place is Universal Studios in Florida for a new pair, otherwise used on places like eBay, but they are fairly rare.
My friend in the Uk has a pair (size 10 Uk I think), otherwise you just have to search and have the cash ready

@@eduardorodriguez7689 yes indeed. You have AirMagKing in the Uk, SnuffyMags in Mexico or AirMagMan in the USA (he’s usually the cheapest ).
