Hey Lawson, I'd love to see you get into a bass club or something where you're fishing a small local tournament trail. Sam Sobi does it in Minnesota, and it makes for good viewing.
Sounds like that’s what he’s doing. Says “it’s 10 boats, looking for more” at one point in the video. Doesn’t say the name as he’s not sure he want to flood it with subscribers.

I have always like that you don't ID your fishing spots. Love seeing you catch; knowing where is irrelevant. Keeps those spots from getting overfished for you and whoever else already knows about them. Good for you.

The storytelling here is amazing
I started fishing bass tournaments in the mid 70's. It is additive. I enjoyed bass club tournament the most. The big open tournaments are much more competitive and somewhat more cut throat. I have lived in Hawaii, on the island of Maui, for last 10 years, no bass here. I am getting ready to move to Florida next month but I want to fish in shore mostly. Getting to old to tournament fish now but would like to make some trips to the big "O".

I fish tournaments and have good experience on some of this stuff, try to find some rock piles and throw finnesse, if you can’t do that find a good bank to throw jack hammer chatterbaits, or wacky rigged senkos

I got more into bass fishing as well as I got older, enjoy the challenge reward effect...a lot less predictable than saltwater fish.

Fished my first bass tournament the other week hosted by Bruiser baits, okeechobee is a cool spot. We managed 8th out of 60+ boats and biggest fish. I was actually surprised you weren’t there
How much money did 2nd end up paying out?
