Dude, I love your mom: (1) those are some serious heels for Christmas at home; (2) she's pretty patient trying to explain the toys she undoubtedly knows even less about than you. Thanks for sharing.
I remember a few years ago I got the retro collection rereleases of the ninja turtles for Christmas. I had already got the original four turtles on my 9th birthday, but they were missing the belts and a lot of weapons, so getting them complete with all their accessories was awesome. I remember the nostalgic feeling when I opened them out of their vintage style packaging, taking them out and popping their accessories off the weapons rack. I felt excited because I had finally gotten the original Ninja Turtles toys complete which I wanted for years after watching the vintage commercials on RUclips, which is what made me interested in collecting the vintage tmnt toys.
Regardless of the generation of TMNT you grew up on,I'm sure we can agree on this...Those throwing stars were a pain! I only used the turtles iconic weapons as they were the only weapons I managed to keep.
I'm from a different generation but I remember getting my 2003 Turtles at christmas and I was so exited when I got the four Turtles,Splinter,Shredder,April and Casey. I collected most of the 2003 Line.
Great video, love videos like this with the home movies. I found out the other day that the first Christmas I was really into the turtles they were impossible to find so my dad bought bootleg turtles as he had no other choice, I never knew ha ha. I got the proper ones for my birthday
Wow, I was only 5 months old in December of 88. I only ever had one ninja turtles figure as a kid, and that was Donatello undercover that my mom got me at a thrift store. I had a close friend at the time who had pretty much everything ninja turtles. This brings back memories of that friend that I haven't seen in over 30 years.
Great video Kevin thank you for the yakko! I LOVE the TMNT theres a new playset i wanna get but its like $100 or something IDK. Keep me posted on the new videos and live streams and i will keep you posted! I will see you later! P.S Raphael is my FAVORITE 🐢
@@Pegwarmers OKAY! Thanks for the info! Im was origanally trying to post on my Main and plush channel atleast IDK M-T-W- every other Saturdays but we will see!
Wow. We’re the same age. I had the same problem. I used to draw them with markers and crayons and drew like six turtles because sometimes Donatellos bandana and pads looked pink on TV and Michaelangelo sometimes looked yellow instead of orange. I had Ralphael first, then Donatello about 6 months later. Christmas of 89, I got all of wave one. It was a great day.
YOU GOT BEBOP?!!!! DID I STEAL BEBOP FROM YOU IN FIRST GRADE? Teacher made all the students line up and she checked our bags on the way out so I shoved BEBOP quickly into the victims desk empty shelf when nobody was looking. My local Walmart only sold rocksteady I was desperate

I read your comment to my Mom. She was laughing!

I have the rereleases carded in my Dinning room. I have Leo, Raph, and Krang signed by their cartoon voice actors.
The home video was great. I love how you were holding the Pee Wee Herman doll from tonka.
I really enjoyed the Pee Wee Herman toy!
I never knew that could be used as a weapons rack! Mind blown! 😮
I'm glad I'm not the only person that didn't figure that out right away!

Ha! Do you still have the bootleg turtles?
@@Pegwarmers I don't have the ones from my childhood but I did rebuy the bootleg turtles unopened a while ago
This was awesome to see dude! I threw away the weapon rack didn't see anything in it :'D
Glad you liked it! Yeah, I had no clue it was a rack. Just seemed like the plastic tree frame.
That was an Awesome Video, I'm trying to find the footage of myself opening toys at Christmas that I know I have for a fact. Cool stuff Kev.
I have more footage. Two more videos like this, this month.

Glad you liked it! I'll have so see if my Dad says on the tape. He's not on camera at all. I just thought it was funny (the kid exaggeration)

Yeah, my Step Son used to talk about Mikey being yellow due to the arcade machine.
I thought Donatello wore pink for awhile because the color dial on my TV was broken. Lol
Oh man, remember when TVs had dials!
So I’m confused?? Who did you get then
I got Leo and Mikey. But I thought the names were the other way around.

Ugh. No it wasn't mine. Glad the owner got it back.
