One of the hardest missions so far in my opinion. Got biaras pretty fast like in three in-game days. But those payaras, oh man. I spent 30 in-game days to get them. And I mean, I fished every peak of those days. After the mission I stayed on the lake and fished for xp and money and got three uni payaras in one in-game day. Felt like FP is giving me the biggest middle finger. Thanks for the great tips and the effort you put in your videos. I would never have made it this far without you!
I got few of the biaras with 2/0 white swimbait and most of them with patriotic walker. One of the payaras I got with 7/0 green major popper and four of them with 5/0 greenish walker that you can buy from the store without baitcoins. In case someone is curious
Thanks Dave. I got all 5 Payaras pretty fast and all of them with the blue/silver 1½ oz #5/0 Major Popper. I fished on sunny days in the evening, starting at 7 pm, and I believe the latest I got a unique was at 7:45 pm so it was indeed pretty fast. I left and came back to the lake as soon as I got one. The Biaras were even easier with your spot close to the boat dock, although I had 4 already (all uniques) which I got while fishing for the Payara. :D The monster was pretty easy to catch too. I hooked several but I was only able to reel in one in the end: 317 lb. :)
At 397.56, 278.78 got a uni Biara on 1 0z major popper...2 retrieve speed! Also, your videos have really helped me speed through lots and lots of catches! Thank you!!!
You're a gentleman and a scholar. Thanks to you, this Arapaima was not at all elusive. 2nd cast. 27th biggest at 295 lb. Thanks again sir. Finally got me on the board!
Caught mine off the Arapaima pier in the back. 307lbs. Also, the ocean bottom rods don't count towards the mission having fishtooth hooks equipped. Not sure if this would prevent the monster from being caught on it if you did also bring a rod that met the mission condition as I just ended up bringing some Mokonzis.
Absolutely love all your videos but I think this one is extremely outdated because I've been trying to work on this mission for 7 days with the advice that you have given me and I have not been able to progress for anything I have four out of each one
Not trying to be mean…. But his spots are perfect for the payara they are just really tough to catch. I just finished it and it took a little. Walker works well.
Thank you is that 30 days real days or 30 days I actually have to spend 30 days on each lake in the game? Thank you again if it wasn't for your help in probably wouldn't even play
I caught a 321.516 elusive arapaima at the spot you showed at 8:05pm lg minnows Also top 3 in the leader boad not to boast to myself I give all credit to you Soopa Dave that is great spot Thank you for your great videos
I tried for the monster in multiple locations over 3 days and had no joy. I finally got it at night, banded aracu minnow, (141,33). Interestingly, I caught a mega piranha soon after even though I had already completed that mission.
hello! I have tried to fish the monster, but when it bites the hook and pulls a little, it manages to escape and I get a warning: "fish too strong, please equip stronger tackle." But I'm level 58 and I'm going with the strongest gear. any advice? thank you!
The thing kept making the bell go off but wouldn't grab it for a long time. I got right up to it in the unanchored boat. Could watch it spawn in and look at the minnow, then ring the bell and swim away. It finally bit after a hour. 299.7lbs should be 15th biggest for the week. ;-)
@@SoopaDaveGaming yeah true, i was exactly thinking about that, its same with the wailing catfish in marron, u can catch it only 1 time if dont have rodstand on boat
a-rap-pay-ma. Almost every video I've watched about this fish everyone's pronouncing it wrong.. so I decided to start this sentence with writing it down in the manner that pronounces each syllable.
They can be caught at night as well!

I was able to catch 2, 8pm hour, one float and one with a bottom rod. Caught them at the same place as in the video. Thanks for the vid Dave!

I like to throw the spinnerbait 1 oz #4 with a plastic craw, the Payara smash it!, great video Dave as usual brother.
Thanks!

Sadly I cant do these mission after they are completed so there is no way to go back and retest alot of it
And if you area talking about Payaras and boat as sometimes they can be a pain and you can get unlucky with them.

@bobbyicesr.2223 in game days in a row without leaving
If you miss a strike on a unique, do you still have to wait on the respwn timer, or is that just for fish caught?
No wait it only starts when you keep or release fish
Thank you Soopa

Oh thats weird
@@SoopaDaveGaming I did find that I had an Adamant leader on one of my rods, but it seems like that should not have mattered.
Question does it count if you catch these fish on another lake like Marron river
Dont think so

After how many attempts can you catch the macu macu monster?
How long will it take to reset the unique?
Not sure but I think 6hrs in games
Great video very helpful thanks for walkthrough 👍👍👍👍
This one is actually quite a challenge
Was alot of fun!
is it possible to catch more than one?
Yup
If you have have more than one on at same time. After you bring poles in you cant catch any more
