This was one of the best node videos this year. It feels like a return to form, somehow; it captures the LAN party feel that everybody loves. Excellent job, guys.

SHOGUN 6 I think that’s because this era of halo games (2, 3, reach) were the most fun multiplayer experiences of all time.

@It's Alright Wren countered D pretty well during the Capture the Flag match, he's got that tactical mindset.
He did, reach on PC has crazy aim assist on controllers though - you can see it kick in during a few SWAT shots

YES! This is what Node has always been about: showing the power of local multiplayer through screaming at/with friends! This video reminded me of the good old Node days and I love it! I do think the pacing of the cuts in this video could've been toned down a bit for the CTF gamemode, as I think it's a lot of fun to see how the flag makes its way from one base to the other without too many jumps in perspective and time. For the other gamemodes the frantic editing works better, because it portrays the fun but chaotic feel of LAN parties and local Halo really well. I also respect that you kept some of the profanity in. It's a small thing, but it has become more and more rare to hear people curse and I've started to miss it!
I'd really like to see more of these kinds of videos, but I'm aware that basically means I'm asking for more of the older style LAN parties, which you guys have been trying to get away from for the past couple months. I can't let it bother me too much though, because I've been watching since the first LAN party and I understand you gotta change things up every once in while!

The thing is if you are good with a controller you will dominate Keyboard and mouse in halo. The aim assist is actually absurd and makes someone who is really good with a controller a god. My buddy uses a controller and absolutely shreds.

That was so entertaining to watch!!! So much personality while playing. Instead of dead staring faces or overly fake expression that i usually see. It was a blast to see your competitiveness and friendships come out. Literally like watching a true lan party . Please, keep playing c:

teams would have been fairer had Brandon been in Nick's chair and the 10gig-champ been in Wes's. good game though, makes me miss the days of system-link when we had zero responsibilities and all we had to worry about was who was bringing the biggest tube telly and the crossover cables.

Loved the new editing style. Mixing and matching the face cams, gameplay, and audio made it feel like I was watching multiple people at a time

Keyboard and mouse isn't what he needs. He just needs to be good at the game. Kinda harsh, but hey, I play reach with the controller and I do pretty well.

This was so great!!! Love the competition style and definitely have been there before, yelling and screaming at the computer screen, but still end up having fun.

This video made me so nostalgic. Bungie's halo games just capture something that is like the essence of gaming.
D, just wanna say, I've been loving your Boneworks series!
The edit on the CTF match was SUPER good; you could tell where the key players were at any given time, you could track what was going on with the various vehicles, and you had a real sense of continuity; each play was a coherent story. The oddball and SWAT matches were just kind of a frag fest. I think this was due to it being on a large, readable map with clear landmarks, and being an objective-focused game to set up interesting situations. If you're not done filming all your Halo content, I want to see more of this!

Considering D used to be a professional video game player yeah that alone pretty much settles it. Then it gets 10x worse considering Sam and Niko are both huge fps players while pretty much everyone on the corridor team hardly touches fps games.

I really liked how this was done, especially having a classic lan party with two teams fight each other with no randoms. Brings out great reactions cause you know who you killed and it make yourself more competitive.

This was definitely entertaining and reminded me of the classic Node videos, but man I wish Brandon could've been here for this. He ways amps up the fun meter of any Node video tremendously, and a LAN party with a game like Halo would've been hilarious to see him in.
