This video is great, The Killers are great and I'm sure the whole gig was excellent! I just don't get why the audience is that stiff...The audience has to inspire the musicians even more..These people were just boring...:(
It's not pre-recorded or sequenced. They have always have an accompanying keyboard player and a second guitarist when live. You can see the keyboard player behind Ronnie on the right. They just don't feature him prominently since at that point he wasn't technically a founding member of the band. Nowadays though with the original guitarist and bassist rarely touring, the supporting members are on full display.

If you like good bass lines , apart from the killers. I would like to recommend you Interpol.
Also, the lead into it makes it much more epic
Um not trying to knock this bass line, because it is sick, but probably any bass line by rush is better. Geddy Lee is a beast.
